> 3 dayThis extended battery has worked great and the length is more ergonomic than the standard battery. Ive notice the battery stands more fily when setting it down and still fits all Bofeng holders Ive purchased

> 3 dayIve purchased several things from BTech. The latest was a AA Battery Pack. It works like its supposed to. There are a lot of cheap counterfeit Baofeng accessories on E-Bay and other places. Dont go there. Go straight to BTech to get real Baofeng radios and accessories that really work. Lots of cheap programming cables out there that dont work. Get the real ones from BTech.

> 3 dayIt feels solid and it is great quality considering the price. I didnt have trouble locking it into place on my Baofeng F8HP like other reviewers have said. Anyways one big flaw I found with most all ham radios is the ability to charge the battery. I bought a HAM radio for emergency preparedness and one thing I quickly saw is that all I have is a wall adapter to charge the original battery. If power went out for a long time and I had no gas in my car then I couldnt use my radio. Ive modified most of my equipment to work with 18650 lithium-ion batteries. I have created a solar charger that can charge the 18650 cells so I can charge most of my equipment via solar when other methods are not available. So naturally I made an adapter for my radio so it can work off of 18650s. The original battery voltage is 7.4v and that is exactly what 2 18650 batteries provide, so all I had to do was solder on power connectors to the car adapter, radio adapter, and my new 18650 battery pack. So I can still plug it into my car if needed or use my 18650 battery pack to power my radio. See pictures for proof that it works! When I get survival gear I need to have it work in the middle of nowhere. Solar charging li-ion cells and modifying equipment to work with them is my solution.

> 3 dayThe description is incorrect when stating the port on the side is a 2.5 barrel plug. I purchased a USB-C to 2.5 barrel plug adapter as the BTECH mentioned to purchase gets so hot that it melts the plastic housing around and the motherboard. So when finding an alternative the stated 2.5 was too large. Though when I purchased a USB-C to 1.7 barrel plug it fit, but did not charge the battery which confused me further. I have on solution, but thought this info was important.

> 3 dayProduct works, but sometimes for no apparent reason while using the product with the radio after transmitting a message and release of the button the radio will power off and back on again reading out the message and not receiving the first 5 seconds of someone else’s transmission. This has happened with a couple different of these to both me and my father on separate radios. This “glitch” is isolated to the battery eliminator pack.

> 3 dayI have this as the upgrade over the stock battery for the BF-F8HP. The stock only lasted me a couple hours, while this battery has lasted me for two days of continued use. Would highly recommend getting a charger, as the external charging while using is a great boon

> 3 dayI have ordered, received, programmed, and used four BaoFeng radios and accessories from BTech and thrilled by the performance of the radios and the service when I have a question directed to BTECH. I received one radio that sent and received perfectly but the red transmit light was not functioning. BTech got me an RA number immediately to return for repair or replacement. I mailed it in to be received by them Monday. On that very Monday I received a notice that the repair or replaced radio was in the mail back to me. I call that exceptional service. They really stand by there product.

> 3 dayThese fit snugly in the battery bay of the Baofeng, and give the unit a little extra heft, and make it easier to hold, especially in a gloved hand. The unit operates almost twice as long as with the stock battery, perhaps longer in warm weather. Mine was tested in temps around 20 degrees. A worthwhile investment!
