> 3 dayI tested this at work in a Motorola battery analyzer and it came up short. I forget by how much but it was about 10 or 15% short. still, a lot longer than the original battery.

Greater than one weekBought two of these for an event our radio club was helping out with. Lasted all day. Took it to another weekend event and operated each day, all day long with the usual nightly charge.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent addition to your Baofeng radio. It truly does extend your talk time exponentially. I like that I can charge it by USB Cable, or charging dock (reason for that is because when you have multiple of these batteries for doing ARES stuff you want plenty of batteries, and you may need to charge more than one at a time). My one suggestion for an upgrade would be to add a tethered plug of some kind, for plugging up the USB charging hole on the side. The reason a plug would be a good upgrade is two fold: 1. if youre outdoors in a dusty or dirty environment, dust, dirt, and other debris can get trapped in the charging hole rendering it useless. 2. if youre outdoors and its raining very lightly or misting, that moisture can get trapped in the charging hole which in turn could lead to corrosion or a shorted out battery (and possibly radio too if the short is strong enough). Other than that suggestion for an upgrade, I would say this is a solid battery to add to your setup. I very much like them.

> 3 dayGreat life. It works for hours. Just wish I had an outdoor antenna to extend my range. It is used mostly inside. Do you have any suggestion for apartment dwellers that are enclosed with no roof access. Trying to figure out how to configure an outside antenna with side slide windows. Any suggestions w/b white helpful.

> 3 dayI will install on Baofeng Radios on 3 day adventures. These batteries extend the battery life to about 30-35 ish hours.

Greater than one weekThe battery pack wouldnt click into place, and the radio wouldnt power on. I had to cut some plastic from the front of the pack to get it to fit.

Greater than one weekPurchased this unit to power a Baofeng BF-F8HP handheld in my 4x4. Plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and eliminates the need for using the radio battery. Super convenient for those needs.

Greater than one weekIt’s a cool product for the compatible radios but one drop from waist height and the thing will break on you. I would definitely use this battery as a back to the original, not the other way around.

> 3 dayThe originally battery might last a day on the trails, but if I was out there for more than that, I had no way to charge up the battery. This battery has gotten me through a whole weekend, AND with the usb charging cable, I can charge while Im on the trial if I need to! No more worrying about the radio anymore!
