Works exactly as intended, when you’re immersed the game you won’t feel it a single bit. However if you consciously think about it it will be noticeable but not very intrusive. I wish there could be tension adjustment which would make every issue with it stop. If you’re sitting down you’ll probably feel it the most but standing up and playing your game is perfectly fine, you won’t notice it a single bit and you’ll be glad afterwards there’s no cable in your way.

No where to put the headset after I finish playing. The pulley also pulls too much which makes it a bit uncomfortable, if I extended the wire there would be too much wire. Ill figure it out I hope.

Ever since I started having pc issues I couldnt use my wireless adapter and had to find a good alternative so I ended up choosing this product. It works really well and allowed me to save room on storing my headset since I can just hang it from the ceiling. Easily recommend if your moving from wireless or suffer from cable tangling often.

Right out of the box I stretched out a pulley to test how silent it was. The claim of silence seems to mostly be based on the rubber that deadens the retraction click and this works well enough to be silent within vr even if not outside of it. That said, I immediately doubted the product after stretching it out further. The reason for deducting two stars is due to the tension ramping up as the cord is pulled out. The only adjustment is to change the slack but, without a corresponding adjustment to tension, this feature is nearly pointless. The recommended triangle setup really does work flawlessly for standing play but the pull becomes too noticeable after 1 or 2 steps in any direction. My space measures 3 meters by 3.5 meters according to the steam vr room setup so 1 or 2 steps is not sufficient. I spent a couple hours experimenting and here is what works best for my setup. First off, 6 pulleys is not enough so I ditched the triangle setup. Im very glad that more adhesive hooks were included than needed. I still have 3 points of contact with the ceiling but ended up chaining the pulleys together. 1st point nearest the pc has 1, 2nd point has 2, 3rd point has 3. I found that the easiest way to calibrate this was to place the headset into the corner. Each link of the chain could then be inspected and the rubber gripper on the cord adjusted until all pulleys were about the same length. A balance must be struck between ensuring that no pulley is stretched too far yet without the cord dangling low enough to entangle your neck or hands. Overall, this setup is decent but Im probably going to need to order a second kit. There just are not enough points of contact with the ceiling to keep the cord high enough. Ill likely have leftovers but I figure the rest can be spares. This would be a 5 star product if there was a way to adjust tension. This would be a 4 star product if they were more open about the requirements for a full room setup and sold a 10 pack going for about 1.5 the cost.

Works great. Have tons of room to move. Adhesive has held up now for over a month of constant use. Only slight downside is that there is some tension when you get out of the triangle configuration space but if you have the cable coming off the top of the headset its not bad.

    Greater than one week

After using PCVR without this for 2 years, I can still feel the cord on my back. Now I can actually turn around and dance without worrying.

Perfect. Package provided multiple options for mounting. Quality might be too good. I feel spoiled. Thank you. I highly recommend for any VR user or for suspending any cables. It can handle about 5-10 spins before it gets caught up, which is far better than without ceiling suspension.

These things are amazing! Just the right amount of pull to keep the cables out of the way without impacting your experience. You can really just get into the game and forget youre tethered to your computer in anyway. The suggested set-up is great and all, but honestly the individual units work so well that you probably dont even need to use the multi-unit end-point. Unless you have a larger space, which would likely help there!

I worried that the adhesive would fail before using the product. But It has held out extremely well. I had to relocate one of the hooks and the adhesive stuck to first wooden brace like a champ and I had to spend a little time removing it without ruining the plastic or pulling the adhesive apart. Putting it in the second location was fine, not brand new levels of sticky but its holding fine for its intended purpose. If I need another one for my second VR headset I would be perfectly fine getting another one.
