I love the system, these are quiet as heck and there are more than enough pulleys in the setup that needed. I use this with a Vive and it handles the cable beautifully. I have not rated the adhesive pads because, I didnt use the provided hooks since Im a renter. I use the command hook system and yes its a textured roof and they have been mounted for over three months. I play No Mans Sky (in a swivel chair), beat saber, bone works, and Alyx to name a few games. All I can say is that you dont even hear the pulleys and the have enough resistance to keep the cable up but not pull on your noggin. For those worried about pulling paint or putting holes in the ceiling, look into the 3M 17065CLR-6ES style hooks.

I was surprised by how much I like this kit. When properly set up, it suspends the cable out of the way while allowing a large range of movement. You can feel it tugging at you slightly as you get further away from the starting position, but in my opinion it’s much less irritating than dealing with a cable on the floor. In order to keep the installation reversible, I attached the adhesive hook pads to the ceiling using gaff tape instead of the built-in adhesive. It seems to be holding up well, but I do unhook the pulleys when I’m not using my headset so it isn’t under constant load. I’m sure you could assemble something similar piece by piece for a lot less money, but that would take a lot of effort and this is a very convenient, comprehensive package (well, except for the optional gaff tape, haha).

Cant stand it. Cable twisted and pretzels above my head within minutes. Rough tug on the headset if I move anywhere. Sent a photo of my configuration to kiwi, and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Id rather trip over the wire on the floor than ever use this system again.

I previously was using another cable management system that was slightly cheaper, which did the job fine but had higher tension and twisted metal cables. Finally, one of the cables snapped and rendered the pulley useless and I was forced to buy another set. After ordering these, I replaced my older set with the KIWI versions and havent looked back. Not only are these sturdier, but are set up just to work for cable management. Other pulley systems are set up as bundles of ID card pulleys, but these actually are designed to hold cables thanks to the cable holders at the ends. In addition, the tension and pulling force is just correct: not too much but not too weak. Are these more than the others? Yes, but the extra price you pay is worth the premium.

Works great. Have tons of room to move. Adhesive has held up now for over a month of constant use. Only slight downside is that there is some tension when you get out of the triangle configuration space but if you have the cable coming off the top of the headset its not bad.

This is just awesome. I was so annoyed with my cable and worried about how Id solve this problem considering I had a fan in the middle of my office. Of course the fan is right where I want to play.. I installed this system to the side of my fan and it allows me to stand under it where I prefer with absolutely no problems. I can walk around, turn 360, duck to the ground, etc. and the cable is never in my way.. This product is an absolute must for any VR player using a wired set. Just get it, you will not be disappointed.

After using PCVR without this for 2 years, I can still feel the cord on my back. Now I can actually turn around and dance without worrying.

Overall Id say its a great product, definitely an improvement over having all your wires go to your feet. Takes some time to set it up for good comfort - having to compromise between having extra loose cable hang down and have it get in the way of your hands, or have the wires basically glued to the ceiling and have a bit less freedom of motion. Also, what I found to be better if you have your PC in front of you, is to guide the wires around so the cables leaving the HMD are going up and behind you a bit (so the centre of the triple hook setup is behind you); I experienced less HMD tug where it would almost rip the headset off my head (exaggeration, it would just move it off-centre and the view would thus get blurry and youd have to readjust). Thankfully they include lots of those sticky hooks, so I managed to use two as wire guides on the wall, three for the triple hook thing, and three extra to completely redo the triple hook thing since the first time it turned out too bunched up and too forward. The only real negative I have is how tight the pulleys are; I wish they were tight enough to be able to hold their shape and maybe 50g extra for wire tension, and thats it - my play space is quite small, maybe around 2mx1.5mx2m (WxDxH) and on the edges, or when I get down, the headset gets pulled back way too much where it just breaks the immersion. Especially if you dont have much slack in the cables and two pulleys have to start unwinding, so its double the force you have to combat. Not unusable, but if youre like me and dont like to tighten the HMD until you lose blood circulation, it does get a tad annoying having to pull your headset down to eye-level after crouching. Great for seated VR as well, and if you have a spinning chair - all the wires go up instead of getting tangled on the wheels!

So got the product and the package was up to snuff in every way except when I opened it I got bombed with a cloud of cigarette smoke as if the seller exhaled 2 lungs and mouth full of it straight into the bag or like either the product box or amazon envelope was sitting on a shelf in the same room as a smoker who smokes 5 packs a day the last 5 years. On top of that once installed I found out the alternative for sticky hook was not working right I followed the instructions to the T witch tells u to drill a hole slightly smaller then the plastic dry wall anchors then push the anchor flush with the ceiling and for those who dont know what a drywall anchor is, it is a small plastic cone that u insert in the hole and screw a hook/screw into it witch cause the plastic cone to expand bigger in the hole witch cause it to grab more then the screw alone could, well the provided hook when screwed into the plastic anchor is not big enough to make the anchor expand their for as soon as any pressure is apply it comes straight out and I dont have the ability to strip my ceiling of the the popcorn texture as I am not the owner and it is easier to putty a few holes then scrape all the popcorn off and if I just scrape a little spot off then I have to retexture and then match paint so neither of those is an option for me right now
