Thank you. This is a great mat. Perfect for my portable and full ironing board.

Using this every day for pressing and sewing home made face masks. Odorless. I am using a tea towel on top of it and a plastic table below it as I am using a lot of steam. Absolutely no staining of the tea towel after many many uses. (Some reviewers of other products have noted this as a downside of some similar mats.). Very happy with product and the size I chose for this purpose. I am also using it to lay out fabric for cutting, due to lack of space, but not actually cutting on it.

So much better than my small tabletop ironing board. Perfect for small pressing but also great for large items. I can lay them out on my cutting table, put this underneath, and press easily instead of having large quilt tops slide off my large ironing board.

Excellent quality. Portable so you can use it anywhere. Love that it works great for embroidery items when ironing. Heat is under the fabric as well as on top of the fabric when iron is pressed on material so it is pressed on both sides. Be careful with too much steam because the mat is wool. Some steam is ok.

Stays flat and fabulous and my pieced seams set perfectly. I use both a dry iron and steam. Steam does not affect it, it is porous, so you might want to consider using a small dish towel under it while steaming to protect your table from any moisture. Ive only had slight condensation one time because I was crazy steaming some stubborn seams. Big factor is this thing does not smell. Ive had 2 others and they both smelled even without using any steam. I need to get a larger one and this company will definitely get my business again. I couldnt be happier. It came packaged in a plastic bag with a piece of cardboard to keep it flat, and when not in use, I store it in its orig. packaging.

Having a mat like this means I can take it to retreats without having to bring a full ironing board (especially if it is just for patchwork piecing). I like the size of it 17x24 is a good size and allows me to press easily a 12x12 block. The only drawback is the smell. Wet wool is a bit stinky. Other than that, I love this mat.

    Greater than one week

I have a large cutting cabinet and decided to move my ironing station to this since is taller. I do see a difference in using the wool ironing pad verses a regular mini table top iron board as well as the other iron pads I have. They slipped around and maybe it very frustrating! Plus bending over was terrible! Now with the higher height and NO SLIPPING, I have no issues. It does retain the heat well but does not go thru to the cutting mat covering my cutting cabinet surface! Now, if I can keep my cats from thinking its their new scratch pad! I have had to cover it with fabric to deter them! Anyway, I am satisfied with my purchase and am finding it very useful!

Since I started sewing, I need to iron a lot of fabrics. I have purchased few cheap ironing mats over the past 2 years, travel size, I place it over a kitchen cutting board and use valcore to secure it. Came across this wool ironing mat from instagram and it seems like a thing to try since I need to iron on a daily basis. It was more costly than my budget, however it was well worth it. Everything iron quickly now. Simple ! So very glad I made the purchase.
