    Its really fast. I have no problems editing photos and videos with this drive. I love that I can easily switch between my pc and mac. I have it on all the time and it does not get hot. Warm at times, but never hot.

    I bought both, one for backup in a fire proof lock box and the other for backup from my recliner, I dont do the cloud so all the negative reviews didnt apply because I formatted them both so software was not a issue, what use to take me 40 minutes to download 150 GB of art pictures and music took less than 5 minutes and they didnt even get warm, the speed on both were the same about 4 minutes for 150GB I didnt use a stop watch ;) My new Laptop HP Envy 12 GB ram 500GB SSD OS windows 11 with USB-C

    Blazing fast speeds. Samsung make quality products lately - seem to be going from strength to strength for a lot of their products. Legitimately fracking quick... if you have the connection and chipset to support it. Lovely thing. Hell of a time to be alive you can have this sort of data rate for home use for stuff.

    Horrible experience with the product itself and customer support. My SSD came in no physical damage, but when I started copying items to it from a Mac, just after a few items it starts to report error that the item could not be pasted because the disk is full. Bruh I only got 5G/1T in, how could that be true?! I tried to call customer service from the website, but then AFTER I answered all those logistic questions, THEN they told me the office is closed, which contradicts from the website information. I assumed that I was the one making the mistake here, so I tried to change settings of my laptop, seeking online help, but nothing could be found, and it wasted so much of my time.
