Why I never thought to purchase one of these years ago is beyond me! The absolute best, and most safe, way to store needles. You can pick a needle up from inches away. Fear youve dropped one? Just wave this beauty around the desk, carpet, wood floor, and it will find what your eyes might not! I bought purple, myself. I think anyone who sees or does embroidery should have one of these. I have 2 of these handy magnets...one for my quilting pins and one for my sewing pins. The bright colors make it easier to find under a pile of fabric. Its simple to grab a pin from magnet and it will pick pins off floor and machine throat plate quickly...no more hunting for or spilling pins on the floor, making sewing more pleasant and much faster. I may get one more for my Heirloom glass head pins... The pins that come with this magnet are very poor quality. I threw them away... fabric is too expensive to make holes in!

Purple Grabbit magnetic pincushion has a very strong magnet and keeps the pins in place. This is my favorite brand for a quality item. I loved the purple & gifted this to a granddaughter that Im teaching how to sew.

This review is for the bright green magnetic pincushion. Good product. It comes with 50 large head pins and is very convenient to use. When you are unpinning you can just kind of throw it at the pincushion and it sticks. Another pincushion that we use the pins always seem to find a way of coming out and ending up on the floor. The magnets line the pins up (see attached pics) to make it easier to pick up when you need some and the bright color helps find it quickly too. I would buy another one if we ever need one.

Im new to sewing. The pins I originally bought had fine heads and were hard to see. It was also easy to miss one that might not bave made it back into its storage container. This magnetic pin cushion is sold with bright coloured pin heads which are easy to see. The cushion grips the pins firmly enough that when I turn it upside down the pins remain firmly attached to it. I can hover it around my work area to make sure I havent missed any pins or needles. I am happy with this purchase.

This is a SUCH a cute shade of green!;) I love this little pin holder, and the pins dont disconnect. It feels very sturdy and is perfect for sewing or any other project that uses lots of pins. Definitely recommend!:)
