Why I never thought to purchase one of these years ago is beyond me! The absolute best, and most safe, way to store needles. You can pick a needle up from inches away. Fear youve dropped one? Just wave this beauty around the desk, carpet, wood floor, and it will find what your eyes might not! I bought purple, myself. I think anyone who sees or does embroidery should have one of these. Goodbye tomato, hello magnetic sewing pincushion! Buy it! Trust me!

I have owned these before. But they always come up up missing??? These magnetic pin holders are the best for fast sewers to pull out pins as youre sewing on your machine and drop pins onto it.

I know, I know, its a magnetized thing for pins but it is pure awesomeness. First of all, its far more substantial than I expected. The base is weighted so it will stay exactly where you put it.. The color is deep and rich and it comes with the colorful pins shown in the illustration. Before now I was trying to be sensible by re-purposing a refrigerator magnet, which wouldve been brilliant if I sewed on my actual refrigerator. Since I dont and my sewing table isnt magnetized, it collected the pins but was always slip-sliding away. Sometimes the simplest things can bring the most joy. This was a joyful discovery for me.

I love love this! So handy convenient and safer than the way I’ve been doing it. Makes projects easier!

The color is not teal and the pins have large heads on them. The product serves its purpose.

I love the ability to quickly pitch the pin to the magnet as Im removing them from the material as Im sewing. I dont have to try and stick the pin an actual cushion, slowing me down on a project or hope they dont roll off the table because Im too lazy to bother placing them in one while sewing. Its really convenient. If you are organized, you can place them in the same direction and minimize poking yourself while retrieving one. If you dont ever want to risk poking yourself from retrieving a pin from the pin cushion, then maybe this isnt for you. But really, if you are sewing and never get poked, youre from another world. Would definitely buy again.

As expected, I bought it for the magnet. Good thing as the pins are crap. They are very thick and a little short. I actually threw them out. Magnet itself works great.

Love this. Have been using the traditional pin/needle tomato and/or pi/needle box, but not any more. This thing is great, and the curved bowl makes it easy to remove pins w/ one hand. Sweep it over a table surface to pick up loose pins. Wish I had discovered this decades ago, saw someone with it in a sewing class and purchased one for myself. Terrific product that works.
