> 3 dayhas no extra unneeded bells and whistles so it was really affordable especially for the hier tier processor thats in it. i have no problems running the software i need on it. had it for a little over a year now and still using it. the battery life is abyssmal like only 4 hours long, however anytime i use it i can plug it in so that doesnt bother me per say. for the price i paid for it thats absolutely acceptable.

> 3 daySo far so good. Does what it needs to do, very lightweight and stylish. Fast speed. Only complaint is sometimes the fan is loud but not often. Overall pretty good.

> 3 dayat $600 I couldnt ask for more. Great video, great sound, easy to set up and use. Initially there were many programs that I didnt want and would never use that I deleted (easy to delete in settings). Sound and video are excellent for virtual meetings. Adjust sound and video you your needs (in Serrings). Ive read some of the complaints about this laptop crashing, etc. My advice would be to just reboot, update all software (Settings > System), and be patient. Ive read that you can turn this laptop into a touchscreen notebook, but I prefer using a mouse over touchscreen. Excellent laptop that I recommend.

> 3 dayUnfortunately, like another reviewer my laptop also has a wifi adapter problem. I spent 1/2 a day with HP trying to troubleshoot and eventually had to wipe the computer and restore to manufacturer settings. That worked for about 8 hours and again the adapter was disabled or corrupted. I was able to find a USB to Ethernet converter so I can connect to the internet - but that then interferes with the reaction time of my wireless mouse and keyboard....plus connecting to the ethernet with a really long chord when working from home is very inconvenient when, you know, I bought a laptop for its portability.

Greater than one weekI had to purchase this in a hurry because the laptop that the school issued my son for virtual learning was not working. I likely wouldnt have purchased this model had it not been for the laptop shortage due to COVID-19 and our new world of virtual learning, but it was one of the only reasonably priced ones available. The absolute deal breaker is the touchpad/mouse. You have to be DEAD CENTER in the middle when you click on it for it to properly work. They might as well make it 1 inch by 1 inch, because if you miss that sweet spot directly in the center youre out of luck. Its extremely frustrating, especially when youre trying to work quickly. I would expect better from a $600 computer. The keyboard layout is a little funky and sits slightly to the left, a little awkward to deal with at first but I got used to it pretty quickly. The graphics arent good. This computer should be worth about $350-$400. Disappointed but it will have to do, unfortunately.
