what I like most is the fact you dont have to trace patterns for hand embroidery any longer! You just put a sheet in your copier & print out the design. remove the backing to reveal the sticky part, put it on your fabric & embroidery. when done, just rinse your item & all the trace of the sulky goes away. amazing! of course if your pattern is larger than the sheet, just use more sheets & as you stitch your embroidery, add the different sections & continue on. I also trim off the sections without the designs & you can use the pieces in future projects. this is very sticky & holds itself in position quite well. I have not had any problem with the sulky moving. since the sulky will disappear you can always change the pattern to suit you & no one will be the wiser! I have not had any problems with my needle gumming up at all, but if you do use wipe the needle with a little rubbing alcohol & you are good to go. I also have not hand any residue from the sulky on my fabric.

I used this product to embroider on quilt blocks! I traced the pattern using a light board, water soluble pen and pencil onto the Sulky sheet. I also copied the pattern, and used my printer with a Sulky sheet. Make sure you have enough ink in your printer. The adhesive sticks good, does not leave any residue on fabric, even after the material soaks off. You will get some residue on your needle while stitching. I kept an alcohol pad handy to wipe off the residue as needed. I will be using and ordering again as needed.

So easy to copy, stick, & hand stitch my embroidery projects. Washes off easily. Hand work is becoming a rarity, this makes easy work of embroidery.

I used this on embroidery projects. It works just fine if you use it in small pieces. After awhile it does loose its stick. As far as rinsing it away well...be patient.

This is a great product for hand embroidery. I have had issues with iron on transfers being too faint to see properly (and I followed all the directions) Just print out the design, cut it out and position it on your fabric. It disappears completely when immersed in water and no residue left behind. Ive used it on cotton and linen and had no problems. Update 2/27/2017 - Ive been using this product for a couple of years for hand embroidery projects. If your image is large it can shift in the hoop so leave enough room around the edges so you can baste the piece to your fabric. I also use a 1/2 teaspoon of Calgon Water softener in warm water when I am ready to dissolve the stabilizer. This helps with any residue in tight places.

It prints perfect with a laser printer, adheres easily, and removes without a problem with warm water. I soak it in warm water a couple minutes, and it floats right off. Running it under a warm tap quickly rinses all of it off then. One thing I found: if your pattern is printed close to the edge of the Sulky, it can lift when pushing a needle through. The solution: leave a border! It makes it a tiny bit harder to push a needle through, but not by much.

Great find! Easy to go through my printer, stuck nicely on my sweatshirt material. The water soluble part worked perfectly. Highly recommend.
