I have a love/hate thing going w/ My SM7B. On the +side, its an top-rate mic I use w/ My RodeCaster Pro board in My radio station & its a perfect pairing so far w/ no complaints in quality & sound capturing & production.

I have tried and purchased the Heil PR40, Yeti Blue mic and the professional Series, the AT2020, The Blue Spark mic. All I can say is the best mic for me hands down is the Sure SM7B. The sound is unmatched and it cancels out all of the background noise. Buy this mic you will not be disappointed....

This mic is absolutely amazing. I thought I had done something wrong when I first received it as it sounded extremely sub par compared to the glowing reviews from Major recording studios that it has garnered. Then a much more knowledgeable audio technician explained to me that it is a very power hungry mic and needs a capable preamp to really shine. So I grabbed a Grace Design m101 and wow... Just wow! If you dont have the cash for that there is also the Cloudlifter CL-1 but I cant speak to that options quality as I didnt directly compare the two.

Honestly... I was expecting great things from this mic.. And even thought for a moment the preamp I had wasnt going to do the trick.. But I was very wrong.

I purchased this microphone as a gift. They were so excited to receive it. They use it for work and love it so much that they are going to purchase a second one. Great product!

sound quality is unheard of. top of the line, great for indie artists who have small budget. i have had 3 of these without any problems. however, this one ended up having the cord break within a week, which essentially renders the mic useless. no response from customer support so i’ve had a dead mic for about a year or so, and i am now irritated enough to write a review. be weary of the quality of theses mics.

You get that radio broadcaster sound with this microphone that just sounds outstanding. Buyers beware this microphone is not meant to have a ton of depth it is supposed to sound less full(DO NOT BUT THIS MIC WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING THAT).

Perfect for most recording situations, especially if your room is not totally silent. A dynamic mic like this, is not as sensitive as the large diaphragm condenser mics for example, but helps record cleanly despite a bit of background noise. Great clarity and tone. Very happy.
