> 3 dayAmazing cooler for a stock (non overclocked) system. My temperatures were regularly high with the stock intel fan, after installing this fan the temps plummeted and overall performance of my PC increased as I was hitting throttling temperature before. Ran quiet, but I would make sure that you have the room in your case. Mine was a tight fit, so give yourself a healthy clearance when buying this product.

> 3 dayI really like this cooler, it keeps my stock 9700k under 58c even under load. It is super quiet and I can barely even hear it at idle. The brown fan does not suit everyone but they do make a black version, I personally like it.

> 3 dayI built this PC for my pro tools rig. I heard about noctura fans being extremely quiet, but I didnt think they would be this quiet!

Greater than one weekAbsolutely excellent product. Noctua please branch out towards the power supply market aswell (you have branced out towards radiators for water cooling so you might aswell engineer power supplies aswell).

> 3 dayFor the vast majority of systems this is more than enough cooling. Ive been running an overclocked i7-2600k to 4.2ghz for 2 years and my CPU temps stay sub 40ºC. If youre coming from a stock cooler the size of this might be intimidating, but its compact enough (for an aftermarket cooler) to not interfere with ram on most motherboards. The large fan is quiet and effective, however after nearly 2 years it developed a click at high speeds causing me to replace it (for $15-20). According to their website, the mean time to failure for the fan is 150,000 hours, which is around 17 years. Noctua does have a 6 year warranty on parts, which I have not pursued yet. Considering I have 2 other identical fans that are still running fine Im considering it an anomaly.
