> 3 dayThis thing is amazing. I previously had a Cooler Master D92 leftover from another machine on my i7 3820. At stock speeds it ran in the high 30s to low 40s at idle, with temps in the high 60s to low 70s under load. It ran too hot to keep even a mild overclock on the processor. After putting on the Noctua in a push pull configuration temps plummeted. I then overclocked to 4.3ghz and it runs high 20s to low 30s at idle. I played Metal Gear V for over an hour last night and the temps didnt exceed 52 according to RealTemp. I should have bought this cooler when I first built my machine. I dont know how the Noctua is so much superior to other coolers, but its worth every penny if you want to chill your CPU on air. Its also quieter than any other brand Ive heard. I set it on high and my graphics card is the only noise I notice while playing (SC 770). This also installed with no problem on my LGA 2011 board with big heatsinks on my corsair ram.

> 3 dayHad some cooking issues for about a year with my AMD Hudson APU even after installing a better cpu cooling fan from an older gaming computer.. PC would suddenly stop and shut down when doing video encoding for about 5-10 minutes. This was very annoying. I had this same model of Noctua cooler in another gaming computer and decided to buy this one for the APU problem. Life is now good. The cooler is doing an excellent job and is a lot quieter than the old conventional CPU cooler. Very happy with both of my computers using these coolers. Recommended

> 3 dayThe Noctua NH-U12 S is everything that you read on line about the product. From the packaging to the solid well made parts you will not go wrong buying this line of coolers. They are so quiet I have to look down to make sure my computer is still on. Well worth the extra money for the quality and performance it delivers.

> 3 dayAfter having had occasional crashes for a while I read something that suggested temperature problems. I installed SpeedFan and confirmed that temperature was the problem, in that by changing BIOS settings to disable Turbo mode and increase fan speed I made the system more stable. My system: CPU: i7-9700k, Motherboard: Asus Prime Z370-P II with a stock Coolermaster cooler from PC Specialist. Have now installed the Noctua NH-U12S, with noticeable improvement. Previously CPU ran at 55C or more with Turbo disabled, max fan speed, 50% CPU usage. Now it runs at 48C with Turbo enabled, fan speed variable but quiet, 92% CPU sustained. Most importantly, no crashes, even when rendering a video edit that always caused a crash previously (using Lightworks, which can used all 8 cores for several minutes while rendering). Very satisfied customer.

> 3 dayPlutôt facile à installer sur support Intel 1151 (i7 7700K, kaby lake), refroidissement excellent sur un processeur ayant naturellement tendance à chauffer fort.

26-09-2024With Noctua, you pay for the quietness and coolness of your rig. Then I spent the extra $40 for the black chromax covers and fan. Literally all just to make my system look more uniform. Easy install, near silent until 75% speed, my Ryzen 3600 never goes above 65C with a very gentle fan curve.

Greater than one weekAs mentioned in other reviews, the manufacturer now includes the AM4 kit with this model. I ordered this product a few days ago and when it arrived, I found it came with several mounting brackets including an AMD bracket supporting the AM4 socket. Im using this with a Ryzen 5 3600.

> 3 dayQualità ottima, temperature scese di 15 gradi almeno. Il montaggio è abbastanza semplice, con l’aiuto di qualcuno diventa immediato.
