Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

This thing is incredible! I almost went with liquid cooling and instead opted for this as I have no experience with liquid cooling. Very glad I did as this performs incredibly well.

Im pairing the Noctua NH-D15 with the i9 9900k and the results are fantastic. My CPU is running stable at 5 GHz on all 8-cores with average idle temps between 32-37 degrees C and 50-65 degrees C during gaming. For other workloads, it typically is in the 40-49 degrees C range. I would highly recommend using the supplied thermal paste from Noctua as well since it is a high-quality paste that is non-conductive. It also was able to work with Corsairs Dominator Platinum RGB memory. The only modification I had to make was that I moved the first fan to the opposite end of the heatsink but in terms of performance, this has had no negative impact. If you prefer air-cooling like I do and want fantastic cooling, look no further. I also have to commend Noctua for exceptional packaging of materials They protect all of the components in the box with a large amount of padded protective material and everything comes in a fairly rigid cardboard box which protects the packaging contents. The product itself and even the package it comes in scream quality. If I build another system Ill buy another NH-D15, they truly make the best stuff.

Great Cooler; keeps things nice and cool, but its too big. The 140 mm fans wont clear my ram/nor will they clear the IHS on my motherboard while being able to close my case.

After reading countless reviews on this air cooler it looked like the best solution for an i7. I still think those reviews are spot on.

un peu bruyant... et surtout le second ventilo ne sert clairement a rien car il empeche linstallation de la carte GFX.... sinon fait le job niveau ventilation

I originally had an Corsair H100i closed loop watercooler in my computer for cooling off an i7 7700k, mildly overclocked by just 9%. The cpu was regularly hitting 90c and above under gaming loads. On top of that it was exceptionally loud. The noise could be toned down of course with the controls but this would result in the cooling getting worse. Finally got fed up of it and decided to replace it with this.

Sehr leise, trotzdem sehr gute Kühlleistung. Vor dem Einbau/der Bestellung die Größe prüfen, da sehr voluminös. Top!

Great cooler for under USD$ 90.00. It fits in my Corsair 760t with ease. It cooled a FX-8370 (125 watt TDP) and was able to overclock to stable 5GHZ. Used another on a FX-8350 was able to overclock to a stable 4.7 GHZ. Very good cooler excellent for taming heat producing monsters.

If you go for a cpu cooler please buy this!!! Is amazing how easy can handle games like call of duty or fortnite in terms of heating wow

This is the best air cooler you can get. It is quiet and effective. My one caveat is to check you RAM height. I have RAM with high heat sink and I had to use a pull- pull configuration because the fan will not fit in top of the RAM.
