Received the computer a week ago and Im very happy with the purchase. It arrived very well packaged and as described with dual Xeon processors, 96GB RAM, and NVIDIA Quadro 600. (No hard drive) Very clean inside with only a few scuff marks on the outside. Ive had no problems running Ubuntu 18.04 while also running Windows 10 in a virtual machine. Android emulator runs so much better on this computer compared to my old Intel i7 with 16GB RAM.

I already owned a Z620 before and this is one impressive workstation computer so naturally I wanted a second one to replace a failing desktop computer. The one I received Stallion Tek was as clean and as pristine as the first one I had bought from another vendor. The word on the street is they are seeing a second life after being used as servers for Facebook. These are big, powerful machines that cost ten times more when new and the dual processor and multiple-cores combined with the copious ECC memory make them ideal for video (Adobe After Effects is a killer) and 3D rendering such as Poser or Daz3D or as a gaming machine.

One of the main consideration of acquiring a refurbished system is the reliability of the vendor. I purchased this product from this particular vendor because I saw 5 or 4 star reviews, and now I know why. I have read reviews elsewhere about customers getting products with spec not as advertised (different sizes of RAM, hard disk type, etc).

This thing spins circles around any of my previous rigs. I bought this for the sole purpose of rendering animations in Maya. However, I quickly adapted my office setup to center this machine as my daily driver. One thing I really appreciate is the efficiency of the 2670 Xeon processors. At max CPU usage, this 16-core system creates less heat (and eats less electricity) than my two other 8-core rigs. An important aspect, since I leave my main system up and running for the majority of the day.

works excellent speed, unfortunately it arrived very mistreated parts of the cabinet broken fortunately the board and components without signs I did not want to return it since the equipment was urgent, more care in the packaging

I bought 2 of these systems and they really did well for the money. I like the lack of HDD, so I dont have to waste money on drives or an OS I dont want. It takes 3 drives nicely and they are surprisingly easy to put in. Anything after that, buy a proper mounting kit. The only real downside to this system is that it runs pretty hot. So, plan accordingly.

I am happy with this machine. I installed Ubuntu Server 18.04 and kvm/libvirt on it and am running a bunch of virtual machines on it. I dont really intend to use it as a desktop, but I might when my current desktop dies (HP wx6600, another beast from long ago...) Its probably about 20 times faster than my wx6600 on the same workload, so its nice for software development.

Just got it. Installed Windows. Cpu and ram as described. Runs well. Seems fast. Havent done much to really say more. Will use autocad and will update.
