HP Z620 Workstation 2X Intel Xeon E5-2670 2.6GHz 16-Cores Total 96GB RAM No Hard Drive NVIDIA Quadro 600 No OS (Renewed)

This thing spins circles around any of my previous rigs. I bought this for the sole purpose of rendering animations in Maya. However, I quickly adapted my office setup to center this machine as my daily driver. One thing I really appreciate is the efficiency of the 2670 Xeon processors. At max CPU usage, this 16-core system creates less heat (and eats less electricity) than my two other 8-core rigs. An important aspect, since I leave my main system up and running for the majority of the day.

Just got it. Installed Windows. Cpu and ram as described. Runs well. Seems fast. Havent done much to really say more. Will use autocad and will update.

I’m pretty impressed, very clean on the inside. Everything seems to work just fine, ethernet, video and all the resources that were advertised. Only one downside, it was missing one hard drive caddy. I found one on eBay for $8

Stalliontek is on it with these workstations, and I had the good fortune to start shopping for new(ish) servers for our non-profit agency. I was not looking for anything HP, but with these specs and a reasonable return window if things didnt go well, I couldnt think of a reason not to get at least one to test.

I got this machine because my other computer was dying. It took me a bit to get it running because of using custom OS, but even with that tech support was great. I had to contact support several times and after doing research, working with them and snooping around the computer, all the problems were correct.

The manual I downloaded did not have the information to turn on Hyper-V but after contacting HP directly it took 30 seconds and works wonderfully..

works excellent speed, unfortunately it arrived very mistreated parts of the cabinet broken fortunately the board and components without signs I did not want to return it since the equipment was urgent, more care in the packaging

I installed Linux Mint with an SSD and the machine is the best buy that I had to have in a long time. I also installed a better video card with 6 Gb of video memory and the machine feels better. My cost was fantastic. The people that sold me the machine also contacted me and told me that if I needed assistance they would provided it.
