Fiskars 3x18 Inch Acrylic Ruler (187640-1001)

Easy to use love it.

This is exacty what I needed to use with my Fiskars cutting mat. I have had no problem with the black printing coming off the ruler, and I used both water and a liquid cleaner. Perhaps those who had this problem got a “bad batch”? I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Great for 2 years...but numbers worn off and now unusable so keep that in mind. Searching for something of better quality.

I have used this brand this style for years in years. Mine was so brittle that it cracked many times. I ordered one this one from Amazon, then found one at Joann fabrics. The one at Joannes was cheaper because of sale but the same. The biggest problem with this new Layout is it is very difficult to see the precise line to many colors, thick lines. However it is not the seller it is Fisker the company that produces the rulers. So to the seller sorry for the three stars,

Love these rulers however after a few uses, the marking lines have faded. I own 5 Fiskar rulers and they all are now faded.

I am not an avid, nor professional sewer, but I do use this on my products that I create. The sliding button function is nice, but it does have the tendency to slip every so often. It reads well, but do not recommend using while combined with ironing the seams down. The hard plastic makes it feasible and susceptible to breaking over time and with use.

I purchased this ruler to use with my rotary cutter. It is accurate, doesn’t stick to fabric, and easy to read. I see quilters using a variety of sizes on YouTube. I am currently sewing face masks and didn’t need anything too large. You can see through the ruler which makes it invaluable. I’m using it with fabric, but it would be equally useful for paper design. This size seemed a good first purchase.

The only complaint I have is how quickly the marking lines wear off. With in the first few months the 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 inch lines started fading in the outside.
