Fiskars 3x18 Inch Acrylic Ruler (187640-1001)

Ive been using this ruler for about a year, and I love it. I use it in every single sewing project and I havent had an issue with it bending out of place or breaking/snapping. I appreciate that its clear because of the one inch guidelines that I use for seam allowance or making parallel lines. I also like that the numbers run up and down so that I can use either end. Overall I think its a great ruler that Ill probably be using for years and years.

This seems like such a simple, no-brainer item to buy, but Ive bought a few of these and had trouble reading them. This one is super easy to use. Its also more durable than the others that Ive bought.

Difficult to be precise measuring on the solid inch lines. A little thick for a clear ruler. Otherwise its a nice ruler.

The Fiskars ruler is extremely well built, the acrylic is solid, and overall helped with our shop to design characters. Features: 1. Flexible if you are measuring a curvature. 2. Clear acrylic if you need to see through to the piece you are measuring. 3. Standard Measurements Pros: 1. Affordable especially with the quality offered. 2. Malleable for different measurements 3. Lightweight 4. Straightedge to cut materials without damaging the product. Cons: 1. If the Fiskar had a protractor option - This would be an added benefit. The Fiskar ruler allowed us to develop some products for our business. We needed a ruler/tool that was fully malleable to designs and able to adjust to certain needs. The additional benefit of using it as a straightedge actually wasnt considered when we originally purchased it - but proved to be a added feature.

Im just now starting to amass my quilters rulers, buying them when Im able. Accuracy has improved so much since using them that Ill be getting a few more in the future, longer ones than this one, smaller ones like the six inch. Fiskars has never really let me down in the past, I have their 45mm rotary cutter and its never failed me. Ill be working on a much bigger project hopefully in the spring, I needed something more than the 6 x 12 inch ruler I already have and picked this up when I saw the dimensions. If youre new to quilting and looking for a good ruler, this is the one to get. Its large enough to work on larger blocks or to cut your stash down to strips. I love it.

Fiskars are the best quality, most easy to read quilting accessories- I have never been disappointed by any of their products

It is just the right size for the quilt I’m making. Love it.

Love the length, very functional. Sometimes it is a little hard to read because it has a lot of pink lines. I was disappointed that I saw it was less expensive at Walmart after I had already purchased and used (and there were no pink lines).

I have a Fiskars ruler that I bought about 7 years ago. It has simple thin black lines. this ruler has white around the thin black lines, something I did not see when purchased or I would have bypassed the purchase. Almost all rulers have a coloring on the line & I find this to be distracting. Still looking for rulers with only thin black lines
