Fiskars 3x18 Inch Acrylic Ruler (187640-1001)

I am loving this ruler, folks. They shipped this fast. I was super surprised to receive this sooo quickly. This ruler is of high quality. It is 1/8th of an inch in thickness. This, along with the fact that it is slightly flexible, NOT FLIMSY/ FLOPPY, helps keep it from being easily broken. The weight of this ruler is excellent for those of us who have wrist problems or previous wrist injuries. It came in a cardboard box that was secure. So, you wont have to worry about damage to your ruler. And the fact that it is delivered so fast, cuts down on the chances that something could happen to it in an extended situation. The ruler does have hot pink to red numbers and line increments that are highlighted by white to make it a little bit better to see or to make it easier on the eyes. I might add, this is , indeed, very effective too. When marking according to a line increment, keep your eyes on the red line or hot pink line that is being highlighted because that is the actual increment---1. 1/8th, 1/4th, etc...., not the white highlight. Cause its just the highlight, folks. Now, the lines that are running vertical the full length of the ruler are not highlighted. And really, they dont need to be. That would be overdoing it. Had to replace my trusty old 12 plastic ruler and bought this. Its a bit longer than what I had but it works out better. Easy to read on light or dark fabric. Way better than my old ruler. Ive been using it for a month now and no signs of wear. Would definitely recommend this ruler.

I have used this brand this style for years in years. Mine was so brittle that it cracked many times. I ordered one this one from Amazon, then found one at Joann fabrics. The one at Joannes was cheaper because of sale but the same. The biggest problem with this new Layout is it is very difficult to see the precise line to many colors, thick lines. However it is not the seller it is Fisker the company that produces the rulers. So to the seller sorry for the three stars,

Excellent product. The fact that it doesnt have 1/16 marks (which just cause clutter for my purposes), its clear which makes lining up a straight cut very easy, and there are measurements along the 3 top and bottom edge as well, make this an efficiency machine. Its thick acrylic so I expect it will last until I buy a new one for some reason, or accidentally run this one over with the car.

It is just the right size for the quilt I’m making. Love it.

Good product, easy to use and easy to read

The rulers are exactly what I was looking for; I’m happy that they are 3” wide instead of 1”. The marks and numbers are not so easy to read; if they were tinted some, it might make it easier to read.

Fiskars are the best quality, most easy to read quilting accessories- I have never been disappointed by any of their products

The only complaint I have is how quickly the marking lines wear off. With in the first few months the 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 inch lines started fading in the outside.
