> 3 dayI just picked this headset up as Im starting in to working on my private pilot license and did not want to have to upgrade later given how expensive aviation headsets are to start. I do audio work professionally and so I am pretty picky about sound and clarity is something that mattered a lot to me.

> 3 dayOverall, I am happy with the Bose headset. It clamps a little to tight, which becomes bothersome on longer flights. Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the headset clamping power.

> 3 dayI have been flying for a few years with the David Clark H10-13.4 headset. Super popular, and for good reason--they are awesome. But sometimes you dont know what you dont know, and had I never tried these Bose I would probably remain perfectly happy with the DCs. But, these Bose are in a completely different league. They are hardly noticeable on the head--minimal clamping force, yet they stay in place just fine. The noise cancelling works excellent. The sound quality is superb, even listening to music they are very clear with range that far surpassed what I expected out of an aviation headset.

Greater than one weekreplacing my $150 headset, makes a huge difference, cockpit becomes livingroom-quite suddenly, finally I am confident to pick up ATC talks.

23-09-2024Absolutely fantastic. I’ve got over 2200 hours flying. 2100 was in David Clarks.

> 3 dayI used them while loading and unloading 7-8 hours a day all day and what an impressive setup. The noise cancelling is to me much better that expected and overall much needed in helicopter operations, like getting out and loading, doing long line work, loading pax or simply standing outside while engines and rotor is turning. Very clear comms.
