Not as quiet as A20 & uncomfortable for long hours doesn’t fit as good what Bose advertises.

Pros:

I purchased the Aviation Headset X back in 2005 after trying a bunch of different brands (my flight school had a wall of different models and theyd let you take them up for free as a pre-purchase trial). I liked my X so much that I ended up getting the A20s even though my X is still perfectly good (16 years later!). If you have the money to spend, these are great. If you dont., save up a bit longer -- these are great.

the equipment is really very good, comfortable and of excellent quality, the problem is that the photo of the product does not match the description. Amazons gross mistake. I ended up being led astray.

Comfortable, quite. I think anyone here looking up Bose knows what they are buying and these do deliver.

Theres little I can say that has not been said yet about this headsets. They are the best headsets in the market. The quality of the ENC is amazing and the quality of the mic too. Even though this headsets are mainly developed with GA and more in particular pistos driven or turboprop airplanes in mind, I use them in the jets I fly. It took me a few days until I got used to talking with the ENC activated. At the beginning it feels like talking with your fingers inside your ears, it is so quite that you hear yourself. After a while you get used to that and one starts enjoying of the best ENC available in the market.

replacing my $150 headset, makes a huge difference, cockpit becomes livingroom-quite suddenly, finally I am confident to pick up ATC talks.

If you have a big head like me, this may not be for you. After wearing for long periods of time the compression gives me a headache. Because if Covid I didn’t find this out in time for them to consider taking them back. They would not make an exception to the rule. So know I have a 1k headset that I’m not happy with. One size don’t fit all.

Use for work. I cant go 5 star because it could be a bit less expensive, but very good product
