ARTEZA Acrylic Quilters Ruler & Non Slip Rings - Double-Colored Grid Lines (4.5X4.5, 6X6, 9.5X9.5, 12.5X12.5, Set of 4)

The rulers are great; however, the package is deceptive. You open up and see in HUGE orange letters 48 Non-slip Adhesive Rings, Premium, you look and you only see 24 rings. You look back in the package you look everywhere. THEN you notice down in the bottom corner in small letters which say 24 large and 24 small, indicating there is a little dot in the circle of the big dot. By now you already have most of your rings on your rulers. You notice that some do not even that the little dot scored, so you cannot pull them out. My fault, I suppose, should have read the entire package.

This is a great set for probably anyone, but as a new quilter, I think they are extremely valuable. I recently made some patterns that required a 1 1/4 border on one side with a 60° angle on another. I admit, I had to find a tutorial showing precisely how to DO that, but my quilt block came out (nearly, haha!) perfect! I dont know a fraction of what all can be done using these tools, but the things Ive learned already have been useful. I like having the four matching ones, so that if you use more than one on a project you can be certain your measurements are the same. I also like the color, it stands out (depending on your fabric choices, of course). My next purchase will be ARTEZAs 6.5 x 24 ruler. OH - - and they dont stink!! At all.

So Im just in love with this ruler. I am a big notions person, so for me to love this says something. I will be purchasing for other sewists that I know as gifts for the holidays. The grippers that come with the ruler so that it doesnt slide on the fabric is fantastic, as well as a happy surprise in the packing. The colors of the ruler are also great, and with it being clear has helped me a lot.

I do a lot of projects that require measuring out fabric. This ruler is just the right size for my rotary mat and it is easy to read the markings. The edges are thick so you can make nice cuts with a rotary cutter. The width of the ruler fits perfectly in your hand.

These rulers are fantastic! I have a few of the expensive omnigrip rulers, but needed a 12.5 square. All 4 of these were about as much as the one omnigrip, so I decided to give them a try. Now I actually prefer them to imnigrip, as they are a little bit thinner. I make a lot of bags using fusible fleece, and when I would trim the seam allowances, the omnigrip would not allow me to get the bottom layer of fabric. That doesnt happen with these. Their nonslip quality is also very good. The only reason I give them a 4 instead of 5 star rating is because I wish I could see the 1/8 marks inside the 1/4 width line that marks the edge 1/2 inch around.

I bought this set because I needed a 9.5 square for trimming some half-square triangles. Be aware these rulers do NOT have a 45° line on them. The Omnigrid brand rulers are much better.

Arrived on time, good condition. Exactly what I was expecting.

Im not a quilter but this ruler is so useful to me as a painter, helping me get accurate border lines on my drawings before I begin to paint. My old one broke after 30+ years so I needed a new one.

The nonslip adhesive rings only had 20 rings. Package had been used. The rulers are wonderful. But package description is misleading

Helps alot. Just be careful cause the corners are easy to chip. Second or third time cutting around with my rotator blade it caught the corner and busted it right off. Id say operator error. However is disappointing it was that easy.
