Trying to create quilts from already purchased material. The pre-make rolls are very expensive and until I feel confident I dont want to pay the price. Very happy with this purchase.

This quilting rule gets more useful the more things I do with it. Sometimes I need to think about how to best position it but that is getting better. The only thing that sometimes bothers me is the 6 1/2 width, it is easy to forget about it not being an even 6 and start measuring back from that edge only to find an extra half inch of material after cutting, that doesnt happen much lately so perhaps an old dog can learn new tricks. It seemed like a lot to buy to get the rule, a cutting mat and a roller cutter but now that I have used them, I rarely go back to scissors.

I very much dislike these rulers. They have very thick, sharp acrylic and the lines are too thick to get an accurate measurement. I often can’t even see any marks I’ve drawn underneath these rulers to see if I’m getting an accurate cut. The included grip stickers are also a bit foggy and not completely clear (I purchased a brand from Hobby Lobby that is actually clear) which makes them useless to apply when they further block my view of the fabric underneath. I would not recommend these. They’re inexpensive but that’s about the only positive thing I have to say about them. Edited to add: I returned these and went with a pack from omnigrid here on Amazon (it’s a 12.5”/9.5”/6.5”/2.5” pack of rulers, ASIN B001CE38JS). The omnigrid rulers are significantly easier to see through. They’re a few dollars more than these (~$30) and they don’t come with grip stickers, but I purchased some from hobby lobby that are easy to see through unlike the ones included in the arteza pack. The omnigrid rulers don’t feel as sharp around the edges either so I’m happy with that purchase. I plan on purchasing a 2.5” square “Sewology” ruler from Hobby Lobby when they go on sale to about $2 to complete my desired collection of quilting square sizes.

Was the exact size I needed to cut quilt squares for my t-shirt quilts.

Was really delighted when I got this ruler set. Easy to use, grid lines are correct and line up perfectly with my cutting mat, and they are sturdy and easy to cut with. I did add some extra grips on the back to keep them from slipping since I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my hands can get weak but other than that they are a great set of quilting rulers.

I am starting to learn how to quilt. I havent used this ruler yet but the size was recommended as a handy one to have on hand,

Some rulers are over printed and make it hard to see the lines needed. This ruler is much easier to read and yet has everything needed for accurate cutting. I will look for more of this brand.

I have been using these daily for my sewing and quilting projects. I am loving them. Finally put on some of the non-slip stickers tonight and while some stuck to the package, there are plenty left for these rulers and even some of my other quilting templates.

The lines dont make a lot of sense and there is no corner to corner line. There is an extra 1/2 inch on two of the sides which makes it a bit confusing. Maybe an experienced quilter will like it but I dont.
