Its a really nice screen for the price. I like the way you can move it vertically and horizontally at any time. Picture is awesome I recommend.

I have 2 of these monitors, they look great, I do not think i can see a real difference between 144 and 60 hrz, but what i can see is the difference in input lag using this instead of the TV i was using, it made the difference between Super Mario Bros (1985) being playable and not being playable Free-sync for me was buggy on linux xubuntu 18.04 (April 2019) unusable with 2 screens attached to a GTX 1060 3GB (free-syncs can only work in 1 monitor setups, but if you turn on off it should work) when the frame rates drops in the 40 to 60 area the screen will blank and reset the config on both displays, with 1 display it works with bugs, i was unable to reproduce some/all of this on Manjaro linux (manjaro stays close to the bleeding edge of software, so it gets newer stuff) Free-sync works fine in windows, you can get a little flickering on loading screens, to my understanding this is normal for VA panels From what i can see FLC is far more aggressive in windows than Linux, this panel supports 48-144 Hrz, but on windows it appears to trigger LFC at 60Hrz, thus avoiding the issue i had in linux, i do not have a AMD GPU to test this with, only a GTX 1060 3GB, i believe i was using one of the 1st few drivers to support freesync on nvidia, so changes could have been made in the past ~4 months I highly recommend the review of this product on pcmonitor.info, that review will help you far more than any review on amazon, they even have a calibration file for this monitor The build quality in crazy good it was able to survive a impact in shipping shipping that put a hole all the way to the screen and not take any damage, it only left residue from the bag that protects the screen that wiped right off My neighbor signed for this package since i was not home at the time and did not look at the other side of the package, If i had seen that i would not have accepted it, but it was too late for that, so i asked the seller (E- Center USA) what they wanted to do, so i opened it up and inspected it and to my disbelief it was actually not damaged, the only thing on the screen was residue from the smooth plastic bag that protects the screen from scratches, the screen was not damaged in-spite of something putting a hole in said bag

Got them both this weekend, I was going to use monitor arm mounts but my table and the mount I bought werent compatable because of a table lip. So I just set them up on their stands for now. Beautiful resolution (Coming from 1080p) and refresh rate is first rate. Only had them a weekend, well see what the future holds.

After buying a ViewSonic monitor and being disappointed by the fact that it could not render 1440 P at 120 Hz on the Xbox series X, I decided to give this AOC monitor a try. To my delight all I had to do was plug it in and turn it on and immediately I was able to get 1440 P at 120 Hz and HDR 10 on both the PlayStation five and the Xbox series X without a problem. I wish I would’ve gone for this monitor on the first try. I highly recommend it, if you are looking for a quality gaming monitor don’t hesitate to buy this one. The AOC CQ27G3S is awesome!!

Pulled it right out of the box and centered it on my triple monitor stand. Though, after taking a good look at the stand, I can say it was definitely built well. The panel design is absolutely beautiful. At first, I was unsure if I liked the curve, but after a while, it grew on me. Really gives you a feel of quality, if you arent used to it. Kinda like a new car. Setup was a breeze. Freesync came enabled, but the refresh rate will be locked at 60hz until you change it in the advanced display settings in windows. The colors really werent that great out of the box. Fortunately, the user interface on the monitor is very straight forward. After a bit of adjustment, I got the picture I was looking for. I have a 1080p 60hz display that sits next to it. After all the adjustment, it came quite close to the quality, which is pretty good for the panel type. After a bit of playing around and making sure the settings were all functional, I started up a few games. After a short time playing, I quickly noticed it. I was afraid it might happen from all the reviews, but hoped for the best... But to no avail. A dark and very noticeable dead pixel, very close to the center of the screen. Well, it did take a while to notice it. But after seeing it one time, you always see it. And after a while, I started noticing more of them. Right now, I can point out 3 dead pixels. Im willing to bet there is a fourth somewhere, as I havent been looking for very long. So, overall thoughts. I really love the high refresh rate. Im a semi competitive Destiny 2 player, and can definitely make use of the faster response time and added smoothness. Freesync is a huge plus. I have always noticed screen tear and inconsistent frame delivery. This was definitely an upgrade I needed to make. And the price point? I paid $140 for this monitor. Honestly, for the feature set, thats a total steal. The only thing that really urks me is the dead pixel in the center screen... If it were only towards the outside, or maybe a different shade so that it wasnt totally obvious, I would have given this one 5 stars. I will keep it for now. Im even considering ordering two more of them, and putting one without such an obvious dead pixel in the center. For now, I say its worth the purchase.

As the title itself states, this is a well crafted monitor from AOC. Which to be honest I am quite surprised, since most AOC monitors are budget based, meaning cheaper in quality, but better in price. This monitor, on the other hand, excels on almost all levels for a VA display. It probably helps that the panel they are using is from Samsung themselves. Regardless it functions as well as it should in terms of sharpness control, contrast ratio, color reproduction, gamma levels, response times, input latency and so much more. Of course always make sure to test each monitor you obtain using the website lagom.nl/lcd-test, for itll help you in adjusting the picture quality just right. Also consider using blur busters ghosting ufo testing tool kit, for this will help you in adjusting the overdrive settings within your monitor. In the case of this particular one, medium overdrive should work just fine for any refresh rate/freesync variable. Fortunately for this particular monitor, most of the default settings work just fine and dont require extensive amounts of tweaking in order to get it to optimal levels. Overall, I strongly recommend this monitor, especially for anyone who has been using IPS panels for almost all there life. For the contrast ratio of a VA is especially big in comparison to a regular IPS panel With most IPS panels youll be getting blacks that are closer to grayish-black than actual black like in depth, contrarily, with VA panels, youll be getting inky blacks. Let it also be noted that freesync works wonderfully with this monitor and with an nvidia graphics card as well. In addition there are no issues with sharpness clarity as some reviewers have mentioned before and the viewing angles are top notch; They are not as great as IPS panels, but they most certainly excel against TN panels without a doubt.
