I have been using this laptop for a little over 6 months now. It is an absolutely fantastic machine that can easily handle all new and old titles on very high settings. The 144Hz screen is actually good. I was not expecting to receive such good value out of this laptop. There are a couple of issues though. The temperatures tend to go high if the fans are not boosted, and the battery life is very low. Apart from that, this machine can handle any CPU or GPU intensive tasks with ease.

great computer with great performance and quality except i hear a constant echo when audio is played. I tried every solution i could find on the internet and there is still an echo. All of my other devices work fine with the same 2 headphones but when i use this there is huge echo. Predator Sense also stopped working after a few hours using this for first time.

First laptop Ive had that can run X-Plane 11 with a decent framerate. So far, so good.

Im fairly impressed by this laptop. It has a nice, bright screen, the keyboard is decent, and I actually like the mousepad a lot, its one of the better ones that Ive used. It has a decent, modern processor, and 16GB of RAM is plenty for most applications (including games). Having an SSD boot drive is great , it boots insanely fast, but realistically you need a second drive to store data. I chose to have a second SSD installed (this laptop has an internal port that accommodates that), and Ive been very happy with that result. The big drawback though is that technically, installing your own internal drive or having a retailer like Best Buy doing it, invalidates your warranty. Trying to have it done at an actual Acer certified place is often impractical, because there are relatively few of those places. So this is something to consider when selecting your configuration.

Not happy with this pc. Ive sent it in for service already and Im having trouble again. Its five months old. Ridiculous!

so disappointed with the box. i want to have it as display buy its broken.

Great laptop but the hard drive space is entirely too little for gaming. Not the products fault, it performs as advertised but Id recommend the larger hd at all costs.

This is a review of some of the flaws my unit had and should not reflect upon every units having the same flaws.
