Very Good for gigging, in ear monitoring, recording.. I use Two Small Amps and Mic Both with these.. hang over the amp / no stand needed

Works better than expected personally I prefer it to the sm57 I have been using for years. Tone is a bit warmer not as bright as the 57. I feel it is just a better sounding microphone

The mic arrived ahead of schedule and it works very well. I’m very happy with it.

It is not the best instrument microphone I’ve ever had but I like the way it hangs down. I still like the shure sm57 better for my go too. So I use 2 microphones.

Great reproduction of guitar amp output, as well as recording music output from speakers. Very happy with this mic... you cant go wrong with this Sennheiser.

I love this MIC! I was looking for a good way to put my rig through our PA, and Im not a big fan of DI so I started using a microphone. The problem was that my mics sound great for vocals but not so great for instruments (to my ear, anyway). So I tried the 609 and the 906. They both sound great but the 609 has a warmer sound than the 906, which is what I wanted. So I bought two of them. Now my lead guitarist uses one as well. Its also hard to beat Sennheiser quality. I get compliments about how nice my guitar sounds through the PA.
