> 3 dayBe advised that if you purchase the Starter edition as I did and you discover that you need features only available in the Premier edition, you will need to have chosen a Data File Password in the Starter edition before you upgrade. If you dont do this the Premier edition will ask for a Data File Password before it can open the file set up in the Starter edition. Live tech support could not solve this problem. Quicken web support states that you can click on the Forgot My Password button and you can get a code to create the Data File Password. However, the button leads nowhere and you are stuck with no resolution. I was able to load an earlier back up file where I could create the Data File Password but had to re-enter a years data. Very frustrating that tech support could not help. Otherwise I am very pleased with how the program allows easy entry of data and has good reporting features. I will continue to use it for now even though I will have to pay for it annually.

> 3 dayA company that cares more about greed than customer relations. I am unable to access financial information from 2020 because I have a 2017 version of Quicken. The only way to access my own information is to purchase an update. Earlier versions of Quicken would allow you to continue to use their software. While they are capable of allowing for a one time purchase, they opt to not only make you purchase yearly subscriptions, they also do not allow you access to backed up files unless you purchase an update. Just sleezy and greedy.

> 3 dayUsed Quicken as a check book register for over two decades. Quicken started to demand an account a few years back and offered services I do not want or use. I only use the register function and resented the account creation requirement. As my renewal period approached for Quicken Deluxe, bought in 2020, Quicken forced one NAG screen onto my display. After the renewal period came and went, Quicken forced a second NAG screen onto my register view that obscures needed information. I can work around this but Quicken harassment of my register view is maddening. I own the software. I do not need or desire the other services. Ill be contacting my state Attorney General with a complaint over Quicken forcing NAG screens onto my register view. Quicken tech support was useless. If you are only using the register function of Quicken, I suggest you do not purchase Quicken.

> 3 dayCRAP! After your subscription runs out you can not even open it up to look at your data. It becomes useless you have to shell out another 39.99 for nother year subscription. What a rip off. Save your money.

> 3 dayThis company is trying to get to a full subscription model -- they are working with banks to ensure that banks only keep 90 days of transactions available online. You need to use Quicken to download the complete historical record of your transactions. What a complete shakedown. Then there is the whole issue of version and password which is horribly broken in bizarrely confusing ways. Do everything you can to avoid this product.

24-09-2024Software is mediocre when youre paying for the subscription, if you dont need the pointless subscription and wish to use it locally (as they claim you can do), banners and pop-ups prevent you from using it. Horrible customer experience. Will NEVER purchase from Quicken again.

> 3 dayThe product was what it was shown to be and it is being used for a non-profit. Matter of fact we are going to get another in the near future if I can still get it from the same seller.
