Greater than one weekThis Noctua cooler is amazing. Many people already know and trust the brand, so it made it easy for me to justify purchasing it. This is the best cooler I’ve found so far and I doubt I will be ditching anytime soon.

> 3 dayReceived this CPU cooler to replace the original NH-U12A. Not sure what Noctua did, but the fans are quieter than the original brown/tan ones that came with the NH-U12A. I have these Chromax fans set to 1500rpm max through the ASUS AI Suite and they perform FANtastic and are super quiet. I was running some of the new PHANTEKS T30 fans on the replaced NH-U12A the past two months and they were very good as well, but the colors arent black enough to match this Chromax version and they made an annoying mechanical sound above 1200rpm. This CPU cooler is a win!!

Greater than one weekIt’s expensive, but it seems to be worth it. Dropped my cpu temps on a ryzen9 5900x by 10c.

> 3 dayI will never use water stuff around electricity, and people have gone mad with their insane water cooler pcs. This air cooler is better than almost all of the aio coolers out there. Its very quiet, and if it needs to speed up the cooling, it does it immediately. My CPU never passes 60 degrees during heavy gaming. The only issue I have is the weird latches of the fans that connect to the cooler itself. Its hard to remove them if you have it installed and want to adjust stuff around the mobo.

> 3 dayIt works very similarly to D15S on 12700K but it is a lot smaller and better looking and comes with two flagship NF-A12x25 fans that cost $44 each. I am not worried that this would bend the board and break off during movement either. It feels much more stable because of its size. I think most people should skip D15/D15s and buy this instead. The installation is also easier. I also had a chance to try Scythe Fuma 2 Rev B which cost almost half as much. It is similar in size and performs well but not good enough for 12700K imo. It was definitely running hotter during benchmarks. But if you want to save on cost, I would recommend that, not D15S. This is not twice as good as Fuma 2 overall, more like 20% better. Overall I think the heatsink itself is not anything special, its the 2x NF-A12x25s that make it work. I think if you buy two of those and put them on a cheaper tower cooler, it would perform similarly. Most of the money here is going to those two fans.
