Greater than one weekThe mounting brackets Noctua uses makes installation easy. This is the quietest computer Ive ever had and the thermals are fantastic.

23-09-2024I ended up buying the Noctua NH-U12A chromax.Black as a replacement for my Cyberpower Pc AIO pump/radiator and i couldnt be happier. This heat sink keeps my cpu cooler than the aio pump(even when it ran well) did. Also for reference my cpu is an intel i7 9700k. The install was a little nerve wracking since i had never done a cpu cooler swap before, but the instructions were fairly clear and easy to understand. install took a little over 45 minutes. If youre looking to replace your own cooler i highly recommend this heat-sink(if compatible)

> 3 dayThis NH-u12a Chromax keeps my 13900k idling around 36-40C and is pretty much silent. I run 6 Noctua 120mm case fans as well, 3 blowing and 3 pulling. I did turn off MSIs “Enhanced Turbo” setting in the BIOS as well as limit the P1 to 125w , and the P2 to 253. Super stable, stays cool and quiet, no issues.

> 3 dayI have a Ryzen 9 5900x this doesnt really get the job done on that CPU. I have no idea why the reviews say this thing is quiet, even at 80% Fan speed I could hear the fans going even more than my GPU fans.

> 3 dayOk, so if youve researched you know this is one of the most expensive coolers. With this you really do get what you pay for. Quality construction, silent operation, and great performance. The goal with this latest pc build was use as many used, secondhand, and left over parts as possible. The Noctua was one of the few components purchased new and it was a wise choice. Honestly works better that the old AIO that it replaced. Unlike that leaky AIO, this will last forever, only needing a fan change many many years down the road.

> 3 dayI purchased this after my water cooler failed. It was easy to install and cools just as good as the water cooler did and will be much more reliable
