Greater than one weekFirst off, I purchased this to replace a CoolerMaster ML360. I went through two of those units and replaced them due to the pump rattling so loudly. I have to say I am extremely happy with this cooler. Ive never seen a CPU cooler (water or air) come in such professional packing. Everything is neatly laid out in the box and labeled perfectly. The instruction sets are separate for each socket it supports, which I loved. No one likes looking at 40 pages of small print sheets trying to find their CPU socket and language. My idle temps are almost the same as the ML360. Id say they may even be 1-2C lower. However the noise is amazing. I cant hear my PC anymore. Those 3 fans on the ML360 were pretty loud, even with a fan curve. This is my first Noctua purchase and Id highly recommend them again (as long as they keep making black products! A+++++

> 3 dayI opted for this over a new AIO or even replacing the pump on my, now old, AIO. I took three of the fans on my old 360mm rad and attached them to the top of my case to simp,y exhaust hot air out. I was also able to attached two of Noctua’s industrial 3000rpm fans to the fins with those metal clips that come with the heat sync. It just took a small bit of stretching the clips to fit (I’ve opted to keep the included Chromax fans as backups in the event the current fans fail). I did a bunch of testing to see how well it kept temps under control. My CPU is overclocked to 5.2GHz at 1.42 volts (originally at 1.435), so I was expecting a little throttling when I ran prime95 under the worst the program could throw at me. Temps barely topped 80C with a momentary spike to 83C after 20 minutes of testing.

> 3 dayI built my system in 2020 of course finally had a large sum of money in my life wanted to build a pc that would last me a few years. I went with the corsair platinum hydro series 280mm for my AMD Ryzen 3800xt and between the bloatware bloatware oh did i mention bloatware. The aio i had ordered well the software sucked and kept fighting with my asrock software. So i kicked Corsair to the curve and figured i would try Noctua for the first time and let me tell ya not only was i surprised but holy moly the raw gift of this air tower. It dominated my corsair platinum 280 on temps almost by 11 degrees cooler. This is the god mode of air towers. My ryzen 3800xt during gaming sessions straight remains frosty as can be while holding a steady 4.6ghz turbo clock. Little note i had a micro atx asrock board and to me i think it would have been ok but seemed iffy, i would advise a stout ATX board. This is not a normal tower it fills up my cougar panzer max pro from motherboard to glass, but you get what you pay for. No bloatware no drama or bull poo. You get straight raw dog performance from the massive 140 fans, and side mount you can order the clips and strap a third 140 to it if you so please. So if your tired of manufacturers crap software and just want to game while your battle box stays cool and refreshed. Go Noctua hands down best brand out there.

> 3 dayThis CPU cooler exceeded my expectations. Its keeping my CPU (Intel i9) at a good temp range with only a single fan attached AND is quieter than the AIO liquid coolers I had previously tried out. The fact that the only electrical component is the fan makes this a reliable and well designed solution in my book. Thank you!

> 3 dayInstalled on a Ryzen 3900X and X570 MEG Ace motherboard. The case is a corsair obsidian 750D and the case panel just barely clears (And this is a full sized tower) due to one fan having to clear a stick of ram. The cooler works fine. My 3900X is ran at stock settings so no issue for the cooler there. I just wanted to comment on the fan clips. After reading reviews and watching videos of people complaining about the clips, I was dreading having to install and adjust the fans. Its a piece of cake. The fans mount quickly and come apart just as quickly. Fingers were all I needed to install but I did use needle nose pliers to remove the fans several times when trying to track down an unrelated issue. I think air coolers are the way to go unless you need some serious cooling solution.

Greater than one weekI bought the chromax black version of this cooler for a build around the new Intel i9-12900K CPU. So far everything panned out as I hoped it would. The cooler came with the necessary LGA-1700 mounting hardware, and I installed it without any serious issues on a Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Master motherboard. The G.Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 memory required mounting the fan that overlaps the memory ~ 0.5 higher than the center fan, but I had expected that and bought a case that is wide enough (Fractal Design Define 7).

> 3 dayCerti processori scaldano, non ci sono santi che tengano. Le alternative sono un dissipatore Noctua, oppure uno a liquido. Uso dissipatori e ventole Noctua sin dal loro arrivo sul mercato e credo siano tra i prodotti migliori in termini di bassa rumorosità ed efficienza.
