> 3 dayI was a bit concerned when I read all the reviews saying it was so quiet, for other fans quiet means low airflow. This fan is great the airflow is better than the fan I was using before and it quieter to boot. I installed on my 3d printer to cool all metal Hot Ends.

> 3 dayUsed this to replace a noisy broken fan on my Ender 3 printer. Although its expensive, its definitely worth it for the quality. It included wire connectors that worked really well too! I just need to be more careful about protecting that fan from rogue plastic bits

> 3 dayUse this 40mm Noctua to replace a noisy fan with a blown-out bearing in a ZyXel USG router (of all things)... and walla: completely silent now. Ive only had limited experience with Noctua, but every time I order their stuff, they always seem to do the little things well - extra mounting parts included, luxurious packaging and solid build quality (even if it is with plastic and rubber), nice documentation, etc. I really appreciate companies who focus on doing a few select things really well, as opposed to trying to be everything to everyone, and Noctua appears to adhere to this paradigm very well. A+++

22-09-2024My CCTV NVR had a very noisy cooling fan, which was very annoying when you spend a large sum of money on the system itself, after some research, I found that a large number of NVRs and DVRs seem to come with these cheap cooling fans made in China which are very noisy in operation.

Reduced motor hub size
