Appears to be a sturdy that that will be a good tool to have and use. I am not ecstatic about the rubber belt loop on the sheath and I think it will be the weak point of the sheath. The rest of the components are excellent quality and should provide long usefulness. Overall an excellent knife that I will enjoy using.

The blade is excellent and the shape feels good as im used to the similar kansbol but the handle feels so much cheaper, i dont get it. On a more expensive knife the handle is worse. The kansbol handle has the rubbery material while this one feels more like straight plastic, i love the knife i just dont really understand that part of it

I’m regretting not having purchased this knife sooner! My experience with Mora knives have all been very satisfactory, but this one excels beyond the others! I hesitated in buying this knife due to the price, but have quickly discovered that it is actually a pretty good deal! It can handle anything you need it to do! Very well thought out design!

Probably the dullest factory edge I’ve ever bought. Great fit and finish, great construction, but out of the box you couldn’t butter toast with this thing.

The quality of Mora is pretty well known, and for years I had a Mora companion. This is an amazing knife for anyone looking for a durable robust knife. Definantly worth the money!

Scabbard functional, but could be improved, quieter retention, built in fire starting rod, and more exposed grip. Great knife, well made full tang, but grip could be more rubberized for use in wet environments.

I came across this knife while looking at custom sheaths on Etsy and liked the shape and blade design, so I looked more into this company and blade. I was looking for something durable for camping and hiking, able to retain a good edge, and easy to sharpen - this knife fits that bill perfectly. Out of the box it was razor sharp and I was able to shave hair off my arm. The blade style and thickness are perfect for my intended use, and while it will require more maintenance due to the carbon steel - needing to be oiled and stropped to keep the edge free of rust - its not anything I already dont do to maintain my gear. The plastic sheath is utilitarian and does the job; however, I would not rely on it to keep the knife secured or to last long, based on the construction of the belt loop. There are other models with better sheaths, but I had already planned to have a custom leather sheath made for the knife, so the sheath had no impact on my decision - if you buy this knife with basic plastic-composite sheath I would recommend looking for another sheath. The sheath is the ONLY down side, and aftermarket sheaths arent very expensive. I am a retired Infantryman and have been an avid outdoors-man since my early teens - I would recommend this knife for anyone - an all around good purchase and I can see passing this knife down to my son.

Exactly what it says it is. A tool that you can depend on when you need it. If you need a survival/bush knife that you can use. This is the quality knife you need. 7thS.F.G.

This is a hefty knife with good carbon steel blade. Only four stars because out of the box it would not shave arm hair or bite into paper. I think this is because the applied anti rust coating also covers the edge, After a sharpening this will get much better. Some have complained that the retaining strap is to short to close. This is how it is suppose to be. Stretch the strap for about two minutes and you will be barely able to close it. Then leave it strapped for several days and you will be able to open and close it more easily. Also only four stars because you cannot use retaining strap and belt loop at the same time.

Only thing I dislike is the handle. It gets a little slippery with blood if you happen to get it covered like I did when butchering, it still held well and if would have held betterwith gloves. However its not my main hunting knife and its still my favorite knife in my collection. Its easy to sharpen and easy to clean. Its the perfect knife for Bushcraft and hikeing. Its a great blade for helping you start a fire and it can skin out small and big game well enough. It can baton wood if you like to do that stuff. Personally I dont. Mora has never let me down before, definitely with my $150 and $230 benchmade knives. The leather sheath is well made and holds the knife well. The tactical sheath looks good if you like to carry your knife on you pack.
