HTC Vive Base Station

This works as expected. Note: does not come with the mounting bracket and hardware.

I bought my first base station from here after one of the two I received with my Vive died. It work fine for about a month and than started blinking red (internal fault error), after some troubleshooting I figured out it wasnt possible to fix on my end and ordered another one. The second one took nearly a month to arrive (even though I had prime delivery) and was dead on arrival. Im now looking into other options to purchase either these or the 2.0 versions because Ive had no luck here.

So one of my base stations died and I had to buy 2 of these because the base station I had before was ver.1.0 so I got to spend another $150. I am so glad i had the opportunity to give this company another $300 on top of the $300 for the trackers on top of the $500 for the headset. I mean man this is great. :)

Quality products working great

Firmware refused to update without manual effort. Then it died a week after my return window closed. Vive makes you pay to send it back and might even charge you for the repair. Might cost more than the device. These are terrible but there is no alternative. Vive customer service is not as good as Oculus. Everyone I know has had a problem with a lighthouse and/or a repair ticket nightmare story.

Worked immediately for me upon power-up. Good product.

Ordered 2 of them, they came in today. I set them up on the wall mounts and everything. I plug them into the wall and one of them is green and working, the other one is blinking red. I have been unable to find any solutions for the past 3 hours, and searching online just says it is an internal/rotor failure or something. I am amazed that something brand new doesnt work at all...Rated 2 stars just because one of them works and also because they were delivered fast.

These are fantastic for what they are but this generation does not work in compatibility with the first generation of base stations. These are a mid cycle refresh with a different led pattern and seemingly better tracking than my 2016 vive bs, but there was zero indication on this site that they would not be compatible, if you have the first gen Vive and need to replace one of your base stations you should get it repaired through HTC, because I bought this one I had to buy a second one to get a full setup working and now I have a useless base station sitting on my table. This does track what seems to be noticeably better than the first generation so I guess thats good but I still would rather have only bought one given there listed as the same product. I have a pretty huge room scale setup and they do the job well, there are basically no dead zones or problems tracking once you go through the hassle of getting it set up which for me required a lot of waiting since I had to buy another one. At least they work really well individually since Im sure some folks will be in the same situation as me but not have the funds to get the second one

Unfortunately the used ones I bought were used because of the fact that they no longer function correctly. They did like to pair to one another and they had internal errors back to back
