The listing to be be more clear - and more correct on configuration and pics. The one I received was silver, but had a black faceplate and black keys with white outlined letters. No backlight. It does have Voice assist, which is nice. There is No fingerprint - though some Pavilion 14 2in1s do have them. The listing says 256g ssd - but mine arrive with 512g - which was verified by from info printed on the HP shipping label on their box.

My son got this laptop in anticipation of starting college in the fall. Hes pleased with his purchase, the touch screen is precise, has an excellent battery life and brightness.

This listing specifically describes the 2021 model. Silver. Backlit keyboard. Fingerprint Scanner. They are sending out the 2020 model which the keyboard doesnt light up, it doesnt have the fingerprint scanner, and its not even the same color! I guess people are too dumb to tell the difference.

Purchased this at a Prime Day price as an upgrade from my HP Envy circa 2014. I am a student, Mom, and use my laptop for homework as well as placing grocery orders etc. What I love: my old laptop had a serious issue with the track pad. Touching any part of the lower edge of the keyboard triggered it. This track pad/keyboard does not have this issue. It does have a cheaper feel, (not as bad as a Chromebook but somewhere in the middle) to the track pad but this does not bother me. My old one was all metal and cold to the touch. The keyboard on this is smaller but I love the size and weight of the entire laptop. My old one was 17 and super heavy. This is light and easy to carry around, does not make my legs tired when Im typing 5 page papers. Note: this one does not have 10 key because it is smaller, which threw me off. Probably my only complaint...yet I wouldnt get that in this size of laptop anyway, so I let it go. Transition from laptop to tablet is as simple as flipping the screen backward. It creates an interface with apps immediately instead of point and double click applications. Overall using it is very easy, its really really fast, and perfect for simple computer use for a student/parent that wants both tablet and computer options in one.

I love that I can fold it to be like a tablet. Buttons are spaced apart for easy use. Different than what I was used to but I am learning fast how to do things on it.

Product came with an invalid windows 10 home license. When trying to activate with Microsoft it does not work. Contacted Amazon support and was told that all we could do was process a return. That does not address the absolute defect that the device came with an invalid license key.

My normal go to when looking at Windows touchscreens is a Surface or Surface book, but this little laptop comes in a close second. The Screen is bright and easy to see (although not good at all in the sun). The keyboard is fantastic (one of the best Ive seen in a laptop). The only thing keeping this from getting 5 stars is the trackpad...it has some play in it and doesnt feel anywhere near as nice and quality as the rest of this laptop.
