It is slim and small. Perfect to put anywhere, easy to use and install on a hp computer. A value for the money.

Good device and good price

I was able to open/run some old photos on a CD disc and save them down on to my lap top and external storage drive.

Great solution if you don’t have a cd drive in your stereo system

Wanted to watch Kung Fu TV series. Which I had a DVD set of. Plugged this into my Maingear Laptop and it played the disks with no problem. Plug and play with Windows 10. Glad this worked as online sites wanted $35 a season for digital versions.

This us exactly what I needed.

So far I have transfered over 100 CDs to an MP3 player without any problems. It has worked as promised. There were less expensive brands but since I was going to be using an HP computer also I chose the same brand.

WORKS GOOD NOT FLIMSY

The external drive works just as well as internal drives Ive had on previous computers.

It is so stupid that laptops are not made with cd/dvd drives anymore. Its just a shady tactic to try to make people spend lots of money having to pay for monthly or yearly software subscriptions, (such as MS Office). This portable external cd/dvd drive is an absolutely needed item for your laptop.
