Had to get a new laptop, this was reasonably priced and had the basics. Glad we got it, so far. Got the extra warranty, recommend it.

I use the computer for basic things like social media, email, and online board games. It generally serves that function well. The battery life is solid. It was my first time getting a touch screen LED rather than an LCD and I was somewhat disappointed in the image clarity vs an LED, but if you value a touchscreen, it could be worth that tradeoff. My main frustration is with the hardware. About 1-2 months after getting the computer, one of the two rubber traction strips at the bottom peeled half off. Its attached by adhesive, so there is no way to reattach it. I eventually had to peel it off entirely or else there would just be an 8 inch long piece of rubber hanging off the computer. Now 2.5 months after getting it the second strip is having the same problem and is falling off. The computer gets very hot and I think this may have caused this problem. But it feels like they should have designed it so that the friction strips dont come off in the first 1-3 months.

I got wrong color ...but I tolerated that . Then when try to install the laptop , the keyboad is rough plus too much sound . No thank you !

They are very fast, they boot up very quickly, and function very well. The touch screen is great. They are very lightweight, but the case is plastic which might make it very fragile. In my opinion, they are good for home use and school use but you will need a case or backpack for travel to protect it from damage. I recommend it to buyers, they are great for the price and their functionality.

I just basically rewarded myself this laptop because I needed a new laptop for streaming. The only downside is it doesnt have a lot of memory so whenever I stream to twitch Im also recording my games which I can be streaming for hours. Since the memories is an issue I play from console and with a special connector stream my game to the PC into my TV. My games look clear on the screen as they do on my TV which is amazing. So if youre looking to stream through a converter this is the perfect laptop.

The laptop hard disk died in 7 months of use ,pain to go through HP support for repair that standard warranty takes 15 to 20 days process to repair a broken laptop and they can’t even give new one .

Awesome use for start up company

Battery life never fully worked, kept plugged in and now complete battery failure 14 months of use for $450, perhaps renting would be best option because this is awful

I bought the refurbished version, supposed to be the same model. This machine does not have an rj-45 port! I didn’t even turn it on. I checked the ports and packed it right back up! Ok. I’m gonna try again with a different machine. I’m annoyed!
