Gutermann Sew-All Thread 1094 Yards-Black (24357)

Beat thread Ive found. However, Gutermann Mara 100 (commercial version of sew all) can be purchased in this same size (big) in 400 colors online at ~$3. Wawak can translate the retail color number to the mara number too. So I tend to purchase that now.

Best thread I have ever used. Stretch, nonstretch, doesnt matter the sticth, this is my go to. Its great stuff, and wish I could have it in every color. I have never been let down by the brand and will always spend the extra couple of bucks to get that extra quality I know it comes with.

Just what I was looking for. As others have said this thread is solid white and not like the picture that shows some purple variation. This is my favorite thread!

There is a lot of thread, super high quality, on a spool that works with my everyday sewing machine. The thread is WHITE and isn’t the strange grey that’s pictured in the description. This will be my go-to thread from now on. It’s truly twice the thread for half the money and better quality. Just one note, since the spool has so much thread, it’s a little heavier and you may need to adjust your tension to accommodate a spool with 1000m of thread on it. I included a pic of the Gütermann thread showing the white color against a grey background so you can see the difference. And included a pic of the thread compared to a “regular” size spool that normally holds 500yards. It should fit most sewing machines.

I’m in the midst of my Halloween costume sewing extravaganza and realized I’m running low on black thread. Being that I’ve spent days in fabric stores to get all the supplies together to start these projects, I was dreading going back for just one freakin’ spool of thread… until I remembered: AMAZON! I’m happy to report that my thread arrived quickly (two day Prime!) and is the exact same quality and brand of thread I usually get at Joann Fabrics. I wasn’t closely reading the description when I ordered it so I was pleasantly surprised to receive such a large spool of thread for the price. This was actually cheaper than I normally spend on this size (even though I usually use coupons at Joann Fabrics). All in all, I’m very happy with the purchase and expect to get plenty of stuff stitched with all this black thread. Happy with my purchase!
