Fluke 117 Digital Multimeter, Non-Contact AC Voltage Detection, Measures Resistance/Continuity/Frequency/Capacitance/Min Max Average, Automatic AC/DC Voltage Selection, Low Impedance Mode

I previously had a craftsman $60 multimeter which I used to diagnose electrical issues on my boat. In attempting to solve a problem at sea one day. I had a senior tech tell me he was sure the prpbl with my difficulties in diagnosing the issue were a inferior multimeter. He recommended the Fluke 117 and Im confident it will be great.

good meter for votage reading and resistance check, I have not used the other features yet so i will still need to find out it;s full potential

Love this meter.

The meter is great for electricians but I did not research it enough and found out this model is NOT made in the United States. This particular model is made in China. So far, it works great for my needs and a higher model made in the U.S. would cost more than what I had to spend. Time will tell how it hold up.
