I love it, I can stream and play any game I want. I have this processor paired with my 1080ti and I can’t ask for anymore. It’s such a good processor if you have the extra money. Highly Recommend.

If overclocking at all, water cool. The little guy runs hot!

This CPU is incredible and delivers nearly unbeatable performance on a consumer level for gaming, editing and basic personal use alike. It lacks on the value for money scale as there is better for the price. If you can get this CPU for under 350 during a holiday sale Id argue theres no better buy!

Best cpu in years for my needs,I am looking forward to the next line of cpus from AMD.i plan on keeping this 3800x next year for a storage or media server.i even ordered the 2700x as well.i have always wanted to be able to have 2 PCs,one with Windows and a second as I learn linux.i want to grab the 3900x or 3950x when the price drops,just because I can.

For the extra money its not really worth getting this over the 3700x, multiple sites said I could use this with my old b350 mobo but even after bios updates it wouldnt boot. I bought a 550f mobo and it pairs great with my 5700xt. Too much money. Go with the 3700x not worth the extra money for 200mhz difference

Great CPU. Only problem Ive had with it came from the motherboard Im using (as expected). If you have a ROG Strix b450-f, just make sure to get that fan going. The MoBo CPU 4pin connector will not recognize your fan until after a BIOS update. The work around for me was to plug into the CHA Fan -1 until I could boot Windows and download the newest BIOS from ASUS. I threw that on a flash drive and then used the Flash Utility found in the BIOS to upgrade from there. After that, the CPU fan header worked just fine. Just a little caveat emptor.

Runs great on my 570 elite with 3600 cl16 ram..have yet to receive my game downloads even after contacting customer service.
