AMD has knocked it out of the park with these new 3000 series chips! So glad I upgraded from my old ryzen 1600 to this BEAST OF A CHIP 3800x. Get some nice cooling and set to auto. Amazing performance right out of the box.

This is a great CPU, just wish it would cool a bit better. It seams to run hot on a 240mm rad in the mid 70s and not really push the heat out. I wouldnt spend a ton trying to cool it as youll get very little gain out of doing so. Mid size air cooler is just fine. Noctua 12s or 12a for example would be great.
