> 3 dayI disliked the cooling system, it cannot keep up with high graphic games such as Ark Survival Evolved and Riders of Icarus, I have a separate cooling system but it’s so far not working very well, I’m hoping to grab a high powered one soon. I recommend liquid cooling systems. As you can tell, I’m using the laptop for mostly gaming purposes. Everything else on the laptop is great! Haven’t tried out everything though.

Greater than one weekI bought this 2 years ago and am still using it regularly. Some of the keyboard keys dont work but thats probably my fault for dropping a few things on here that I shouldnt have. The charger it came with got busted for some reason after about a year, but replacements can be found online. Aside from that, the price you pay for this compared to other gaming laptops is phenominal.

Greater than one weekI recently purchased a gaming laptop that I had to return due to problems to the motherboard so when I started to search for a new one found the Helios 300 model which at the beginning I didnt care much until Acer launched the Helios 300 2018 model which was an instabuy to me.

> 3 dayIve owned my Predator Helios 300 for 2 years. Ive had to have it repaired three times--twice for black screen problems (covered by warranty) and now, after the warranty expired. the motherboard needs repair. Ive spoken with three tech places and they all agree that the motherboards Acer uses are not the best quality. One positive is that the warranty lasts two years and I only had to pay for shipping for the first two repair jobs.
