My husband has gone through several laptops and has rebuilt several from defective power cords to bad hinges and this is his all time favorite!

This thing is an absolute powerhouse for gaming. Only downside I have is I cant make my colors more vivid because its only a laptop instead of a pc. But I just hook it up to my 4k TV and do it that way and problem solved. Can run Borderlands 3 on the best settings and still clock an average of 65-80 FPS, battery life is epic and it even works wonders for making sure I can still do my college essays and homework with ease as well. Get a HDD slap it in and start doing what you love! Gaming and anything else your heart desires! Quite possibly the only thing I could say is wrong with it is it doesnt like to consistently hook up to my controller through BT. Not really game breaking just an extra step I like to avoid. Camera works/looks pretty good. Streaming isnt an issue for me and it can handle a pretty good fall, courtesy of a cat. What are you waiting for? Respecto al envío y el producto muy bien, me llegó todo en muy buenas condiciones. No doy 5 estrellas porque NO VIENE CON DISCO DURO y hay que comprarlo aparte, sólo trae disco sólido. Además hay que actualizar los drivers de la máquina si no te aparece el molesto pantallazo de No boot device.

The acer programs added sucked, not working properly

I bought this to be a gaming laptop. I play games like Guildwars2 and Starwars online. Graphics are fantastic. I love the screen and there is very little loading time. It also loads new games great. My only issue was with the heat. The laptop overheats alot and that is with a fan hooked up underneath. I can play games for an hour then it overheats and crashed. I cant even touch the spot where it gets hot. Great computer just wish it didnt overheat so much

DO NOT waste your money. I purchased this 5 months ago and I am currently in the process of having it shipped for repair under the warranty already. It died during gaming, nice job for a gaming laptop right? Acer support had me try battery resets before finally saying it needs repair. The shipping label took 3 days longer to be sent to me via email and I had to call support 3x. Also, the product must be packaged and shipped, with insurance on my dime, with no reimbursement or even FedEx credit from Acer. I inquired if this was available and was denied, all shipping costs and status is out of Acers hands. Trash company, save yourself the grief folks, dont buy acer.

I bought this laptop after my PC stopped working and right out of the box the computer looked really nice. It was working fine until I tried to play Counter Strike which is where I started to see the problems. Randomly while playing my FPS would drop to 10-30 and then go back up. It was happening more often than it should sometimes 10 times per game. I checked the temperature of the computer to make sure it wasnt over heating and everything checked out so I decided to look up what was happening. I saw on the Acer forums that I wasnt the only one who was having this problem and that it has been happening to these computer for quite some time now without a solution. I contacted Acer and they gave me some things to try but nothing was working so I decided to return it. Other than that issue the computer ran games pretty well (besides when it was dropping FPS). Now you have to keep in mind this doesn’t happen to all the laptops. In fact I have a friend that has the same one and he says it runs just fine. So if you get one that work its work the money, but if you get unlucky and get one that doesn’t run well its a major hassle to try and get it fixed/return the item.

Overall the laptop looks very well put together, the hardware was a great value. However even on the first day after using it for a little while the laptop runs at temperatures near 100 degrees Celsius. Purchased myself a cooling tray to attempt to resolve the issue and it still runs extremely hot. Acer is completely unwilling to resolve the issue without sending the laptop out of state, which would leave me without the device for 2 weeks. I dont recommend purchasing this laptop unless youre looking for a portable furnace, Id look to other laptops.
