The bag is spacious and good for traveling on the weekend.

I love the concept of this bag. It’s a great 3-5 day travel option. The quilted material is nice and smooth. The stitching is good. The inside of the bag is roomy as you can see from photo Depending on how much space you want to take up in the interior floor of the bag, the shoe compartment is large enough for at least 2 decent size pair of men shoes and or 3 pair of ladies shoes. One great thing about the shoe compartment is that it is lined and separated from the interior of the bag so as to keep your garments from getting dirty. There are a number of pros for this bag. They are listed below along with a few concerns: PROS: 1. Great size and material 2. Depth of bag is enough to pack for 3-5 day trip 3. Several inside compartments to store toiletries etc… 4. Shoe compartment is genius 5. Padded outside end pocket great for small tablet or cellphone 6. Back outside zipper pocket deep enough and wide enough to hold something essential 7. Two front outside zipper pockets with hidden placard at least half the depth of the bag - another great storage option 8. Garment loop hole larger enough for different size hanger 9. Length of bag is good enough to hang a man’s suit or a lady’s full length dress. 10. Nice padded shoulder strap provided. Now for the Concerns: 1. Outside Zippers are sturdy but a bit hard to zip. Reminds me of those pillow covers that are so hard to get started. However after repeated use it seems the zippers are getting a bit easier to handle. 2. There are two zippers on each end of the bag - see photo. However they do not zip all the way around but rather meet at the top of the bag with a little clip closure which leaves a gap at the top sides of each end of the bag - see photo.. It would have been better if the end zipped all around and the clip was somehow positioned at the top of the bag on each end for better closure. 3. Top handle on bag looks cheap and feels cheap. For such a great bag, the manufacturer should make a better handle. Also it feels slight sticky to the touch. 4. Bag has no wheels. Just a preference.

I occasionally have to travel with a suit or two which necessitates a garment bag. Unfortunately, a garment bag is pretty useless for anything *except* carrying a few hanging items of clothing. I was excited about this idea--a duffel bag that can can change into a garment bag in much the same way that a Transformer can change into a truck. Theres nothing fundamentally wrong with the material used for this item. It feels substantial and high quality and would likely keep the contents dry. Im also sure that it would keep the contents wrinkle free. Thats the good news. Now the bad news. The conversion process from duffel bag to garment bag and back again isnt nearly as smooth as it should be. This is made even worse by some seriously sketchy zippers. My wife was trying to get it changed over first, but she had a ton of trouble with the zippers. I figured Id be able to take care of the situation but when I tried it I also had trouble with the zippers. All I could think about was being in an airport terminal trying to configure this bag only to have the zippers stick or break. One of our favorite luggage items is a cheap laundry bag that we bought at a national big box chain. Its a laundry bag, but it closes tightly and has handles on it. It packs in your suitcase like any other laundry bag. You can put dirty clothes in it while youre traveling and when youre ready to go home you can check it separately. Its simple, but it is such a great travel hack. It makes things much easier. If youve picked up some new clothes or other items, youll have room in your suitcase for them with the dirty clothes safely inside the laundry bag turned duffel bag. This bag doesnt have the same functional simplicity. We eventually decided that wed be better off just getting an upgraded garment bag and if we needed a duffel bag for some reason wed just get one at our destination. The idea definitely has promise, but it needs some refinement before its ready for prime time.

This is a great garment bag/duffel. Very clever styling, and holds a lot while not needing to be checked baggage. Excellent for the price too.

The bag is roomy, with plenty of space for your hang-up clothes, dress shoes, and toiletries for a wedding weekend, or other getaway! I can see why others would not be happy with the way you cannot zip the bag all the way closed on the ends. To me, that would only be an issue if you plan to check the bag, so it doesn’t apply to me. I used this bag for an out-of-town wedding, and the shoe compartment held 2 pairs of dress shoes plus flip flops and slippers, in addition to lingerie! The hang-up clothes were not wrinkled at all, but I am not thrilled with the way the clothes are placed there. There are 2 offset straps for you to hang garments on. Presumably, you would be able to hang more items, but I just found that awkward, and would have preferred one central strap. Some of my garments did not hang correctly using the offset straps, and I had to just lay them in the compartment, then hang them up once I arrived at the hotel. Once the bag is zipped on the sides, there is plenty of room for extras. I placed my toiletry bag and jewelry pouch inside, and had room for all other weekend essentials. I recommend this bag. It is functional and convenient, and works great as a weekend bag for any function.

Its a perfect weekender. The only thing Id change is have it come with its own hangar and maybe wheels. Otherwise, I love the design and it feels very sturdy, like it will last forever.

This thing is amazing. I mean. Don’t hesitate. I fit 3 costume pieces, 2 pair of shoes, my laptop, day planner … the list goes on. And I’ve noticed that other brands don’t have inner pockets. That was a game-changer. Also two outer pockets and the convertible pocket on the back so you can slip it over your rolling luggage. My only disclaimer is that the short handles do fray a little (just little threads, not the handle itself) after 2 weeks of use but also keep in mind I had this thing packed to the BRIM. These zippers are made to LAST. They are a bit hard to zip into the duffel shape but I take that as security that they’re excellent zippers. My clothes were basically wrinkle-free upon unpacking. No regrets.
