> 3 dayMy friend bought a budget laptop from HP that came with a 5400 RPM spinning drive and only 4GB of RAM. Seriously? how is that even legal these days HP? Anyway, she was complaining to me about how slow it was so I did some research.. Lo and behold, there was an available NVME slot. I bought this one for her as well as a second stick of ram. She was blown away at the difference it made. Sure, its not the fastest drive in the world but coming from a spinning HD to an NVME... HUGE. If you want a decent drive for a good price. I cant recommend this one enough.

Greater than one weekThe SN570 really perked up my wifes Inspiron 3493, replacing a 250 GB SATA SSD. As seen in other reviews, it benchmarks well over 3000 MBps reads and writes on CrystalDiskMark, nearly 10x the old SATA SSD. I purchased and did not install a heatsink, but weve had no problems with heat or performance per the WD Dashboard. If a heat problem crops up later, we can address the problem. Theres not a lot of vertical space in the 3493s case, so we went with copper nano thermal pads.

> 3 dayI like the 2TB capacity and like it. Easy to install and excellent performance at a good price. I replaced the old 512GB with this 2TB, which is the smart decision for this year so far.
