Greater than one weekI replaced a WD Blue 128gb drive that came in my computer. 500gb should be plenty for me. I can still use the WD Dashboard to check the health of the drive which is nice. Cloning and installation was easy.

> 3 dayVery happy with this drive. The prices on memory just keeps coming down. I expected to pay $20-50 more for a known brand. I was glad I checked the transfer speed as I was able to get this unit for just a couple of more bucks than another well-known brands unit that was quite a bit slower. One thing that I wish I had known is that the mirror-image software that comes with it (WD-specific Acronis) may not work with an external USB adapter if thats what you are using to prep the drive for use in your new computer. Acronis wouldnt recognize the drive in my adapter. Fortunately, that problem was solved by using the free version of Macrium and the new drive has my computer up and working well again

> 3 dayIf you want a third party m2 drive for your Macbook, best to try another brand or even better just buy a used OEM drive or specifically engineered OWC drive. I am sure on Linux or Windows this drive would be great, but no so on Mac OS. Check Macrumors for NVMe drive models an brands that seem more stable. Apple just is not that interested in supporting third party drives. Tested on a 2017 Macbook Air running Catalina and Monterey
