Beautifully Imperfect!
Greater than one weekI purchase this and just installed it inside an external USB enclosure. It was quick and easy to set up once I restarted my computer. Its performing very well and Im excited to put this gem to good use. I love a speedy SSD and this is one of the best rated SSDs out there. Im a techie, so I love finding products like this and putting them to great use. Definitely helps that it arrived in perfect condition as well. Thanks Amazon!

> 3 daySo let me start by saying I installed this into a MeLE Quieter2Q. Its NVME slot is Gen 3x2, the memory stick I purchased is Gen3x4. Now, the WD Blues 2TB speed is supposed to be around 3.5k gb/s i believe. So my machine at Gen 3x2 should be half as fast... right? im getting speeds when copying files around my computer that are around 60 MB/s. When I did a read/ write test on the drive, it maxxed out at about 870 MB/s read speeds and 655 MB/s write speeds.

> 3 dayWD recommends on their web site to use Acronis software to clone the disk drive. I am using an ASUS Zephyrus running Windows 10. My intent was to upgrade the drive to a 1 TB from a 500GB drive. I attached the new WD Blue NVME drive to a case and plugged it into the USB port. The computer sees the drive but Acronis does not detect the drive is a WD drive so wont clone the drive. WD should either provide cloning software or work with Acronis or some other software manufacturer to provide that service. As it stands, the drive is useless as a replacement for an existing NVME drive.
