It doesnt feel much like a storage device in terms of interrupting your life waiting for games to load. Do yourself a solid and get an NVMe M.2 drive. I bought two of the 500GB model and I should have bought more (size or qty). These SN770s are fine examples. When starting FH4 or FH5 Im pressing buttons to move forward in just a minute.

I am adding this review to show the performance of the SN770 in a 3.0x4 m.2 slot. The first picture test was conducted in “Peak Performance” mode and the second in “Real World”.

WD makes excellent memory currently at a low price. My first choice was Sabrient, but it was twice the price for each of the two sticks I previously installed. I do recommend use of a quality cooler if you want the memory to function and last. I added Sabrent Rocket NVMe Heatsinks to all three sticks and it runs much cooler as shown by my analysis/temperature monitoring software.

Easy to install, configure and set up. I replaced the boot drive in my new gaming laptop with this and from the stock drive that came with the laptop, there is a pretty nice uplift in performance from before and after install. Great drive and value!

This drive handles every game super well, you really dont need anything faster.

I installed this in a GEEKOM IT8 mini-PC (very much like an Intel NUC), and it performs well. I dont use it for gaming.

Great price for a small NVMe drive. Its not as fast as my Kingston fury drive but it gets the job done! Quick easy setup. Shipped in 1 day.

Im sure the product would have been great had I been sent a new one. However, I was sent a clearly opened and used product. Who knows what someone could have installed on this drive in the time that they used it. Im certainly not taking my chances and finding out.
