Greater than one weekInstall was easy, quick and worked great. Used it for a Linux dual boot in gaming laptop and it boots up instantly.

> 3 dayAssuming you just need a boot drive with a bit of extra storage for playing a few titles, this works extremely well. Bought this months ago as a simple boot drive with this SSD still performing well. While not the fastest SSD one can buy, it still is more than enough for most users looking for a reasonably priced SSD. Highly recommended for mid-range builds!

> 3 dayGrabbed this for a new Alienware M17 R5 laptop I just received. It supports two M.2 SSDs and I wanted another drive for the games and Oculus programs to install to rather than having them on the main system SSD.

> 3 dayI bought this to upgrade from a WD Blue 1TB SSD. The read and write times on NVMe are superior, and my performance does seem to have boosted a bit on many operations. (I do a bit of video editing and gaming.)

> 3 dayWhen these SSDs are installed into a proper serial bus capable of delivering, you will get the claimed speed. I have not yet tested the heavy traffic of frequent read and write to see if the cooling fan I bought will be necessary. I am using this in a serial docking station with a Mac mini. Two lightning ports manage all of the In-N-Out for the Mac mini and I have a physical hard disk as well as this SSD in the docking station. This SSD connection in that hub is almost just as fast as the SSD hardwired into my Mac mini while the traffic from all my other drives are active. (according to testing software)

Greater than one weekI bought the WD Black m.2 4.0 device as a backup, so I did not open it until I needed to replace an SSD drive. Well, I started having problems with previous WD Black which I bought not too long ago (not even a year had passed). I installed the WD with the backup and received an error while trying to initialize the drive. It said that the request failed due ot a fatal hardware error. I put the older WD back in and it worked no problem. I tried to put the WD in again and it spat out the same message. Im a little upset because its well beyond the return date for this drive, as I bought it in June when it was on sale. Im wondering now if the amazon shop got a bad batch of devices and they decided to make a sale so they could get rid of the faulty drives. I wouldnt put it past them. I dont think Ill ever order any more devices from this amazon shop. Thanks for nothing!
