WD 4TB Gaming Drive works with Playstation 4 Portable External Hard Drive - WDBM1M0040BBK-WESN

I got this for my xbox one s and its working perfectly, I had 1gb of free data left on my xbox but when I plugged it in and formatted it ( plug it in after it turns on, I plugged it in before the xbox turned on and it didnt detect it ) it says 1.8 tb, it should be 2 tb but I guess this fine, its close enough, overall I love it, Ill review it in a year from now and see how it is then.

Im really not sure why this is marketed purely for Xbox. I dont even own an Xbox and instead purchased this for just uploading movies to keep on hand. I think the box should say something like Play all of your photos, music, videos and games. because thats what it does. Im a Sony guy so the Xbox thing doesnt intrigue me at all. I like the fact that its small and pocket fittable. Really easy to use on any TV that has USB support. The USB 3.0 cable is very short and I could see that being a hinderance at times. There is no case included like some of the other terabyte hard drives. But the drive itself seems to be pretty durable and as long as you take care of it, it should be fine. This is my first time owning a device that has a USB 3.0 port. Im unsure about it. The speed is noticeable and nice, but possibly more concerning is that the end of the 3.0 chord seems likely that it will wear and break over time. The way its shaped seems weak to me in comparison to a basic, say, android phone with a 2.0 charging cable. Only time will tell on this. Other than those small things I love it so far for storing my movies. No setup needed. Just plug in and go. Only reason why i posted 4 out of 5 stars is because I just havent owned it long enough to put 5.

Works good using it for xbox one

Worked as is an what it shows. Once you setup it up just be aware of what you store. Simply an the price point was a good deal when I got. You wont dissapointed. Just keep the hard drive secure. In case it is lightweight an this to me means it can easily or slightly be damaged internally depending on where ya drop point is. Overall this is where you can easily spend a few bucks an get what you need for a long time.

Good hard drive but does not fit inside of my collective minds hard drive enclosure for my xbox1 which is the reason i bought it. I bought the two together because of the amazon recommendation. Other than the pair not matching each other the hard drive was very easy to connect to my xbox1.

So far the Hard Drive is worth the money. Easy to use and has plenty of storage.

I spent hours searching for the best thing to expand my PlayStations memory. this cheap little box is amazing. i found a crap ton of other ones with seriously bad reviews or tricky set up and this one sounded the best. It just plugs right on in and set up is easy. stores a crap ton of games which is great for someone who doesnt like deleting theirs or someone who shares a PlayStation like i do causing double the game saving data.

Gave to my son for his birthday. He hooked it up to the Xbox and moved his games over. I didn’t even have to configure it for him.

This thing solved the problem Ive been having with my xbox one since day one, uninstalling games just to be able to play a new one. Before I got this I had about 9 games installed on my xbox one and it was full with only 2GB free space left. I hooked this thing into the back USB port of my xbox one and withing 60 seconds my xbox one went from 9 games installed 2GB Free to 1.8TB Free. Now I no longer have to unistalling games. No longer have to worry about how much space I have left. Now over 50 games can be installed on my xbox one at the same time which is only possible with this product. Very satisfied. I you play more than 8 games on your xbox one than this is a must buy. No xbox one should be without it gamers.

I love this item. Should have bought it months ago! Super easy to use and install and works perfect for a PS4 for extra HDD space.
