> 24 hourI am using this drive to store my Photos library on the Mac. For this purpose its too slow. But if youre not needing a fast drive this will work just fine.

> 24 hourWhile I openely admit that I do not recommend hard drives this small for next gen systems, unless your a gamer that doesnt buy a lot of games or movie/tv content or doesnt mind deleting games and reinstalling them if you have the desire to play them again later on, this is still a great hard drive for consoles. The reason I dont recommend this small of a HD for next gen systems is the size of the games, DLC, and updates are growing at incredibly fast rates. 10gb day one updates are becoming more and more common. Add that to game sizes that can run between 40-50GB, and DLC that can easily add another 15+GB by the time all of the DLC has been released and your easily looking at up to 75GB+ per retail game and that is only going to grow as this genration continues forward. Once you get to a 2 TB external HD, each additional TB that you add on from that point forward is actually really cheap. The difference between a 2TB external and a 4-5TB external is not that much at all.
